  • FUCK YAAAA

  • They did do this song at one of the gigs during the pulse tour in America, i think it was a one off but this does sound exactly like it

  • Superb!

  • super morceau, dommage qu'il ne soit pas sur DSOT

  • This sounds like your at a real concert if you have headphones on :) I love it.

  • @imissthe80s100 i agree 1000%

  • this is not pink floyd original the song yes,,,, but not the movie did you smoke a pound pakalolo

  • @imissthe80s100 I know they didn't play it in Amsterdam, as I say they played it only ONE time in 1994. About the other one, you have to ask mr. Gilmour, not me!

  • @imissthe80s100 read the description before you start calling names, this isn't from earls court

  • Hey thanks for sharing this its one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs. I concur with other posters that its a shame that this song didn't make either version of the Pulse release (CD, Laser Disc). The "Pulse" CD had "Astronomy Domine" while the Laser Disc had "Take it Back", Go figure. Oh well cest lavie!

  • Gah I love this song, it actually makes me cry.

  • australian pink floyd???

gilmour sings better, I think...this is a sosie

  • hey faker, how 'bout you find a legal version and not worry about the download. guess it doesn't really matter. if you consider yourself a PF fan, as you put it. why would you steal from us, oh yeah, sorry, them?

  • @Suuperman5461 downloading a bootleg isn't illegal, if that's what you mean. Buying a bootleg is.

  • sublime bass from mr pratt.!

  • This CERTAINLY IS David Gilmour singing on THIS cut. I'm not sure of the Rose Bowl show, but it is NOT listed on the official playlist. I DO NOT think that this particular recording was done at EITHER show. Having listened to literally thousands of live recordings, and having seen dozens and dozens of live shows from Van Halen to Rascal Flats. This show seems to be fairly impromptu and 'stripped in Pink Floyd standards. The Vancouver and Rose Bowl shows were NEITHER !!!!!!!

  • My favorite from Momentary Lapse of Reason. This cheminwey guy must be clueless. NOBODY does it like Gilmour can.

  • 100% GILMOUR any fool can know it

  • Thats defo gilmour singing

  • One Slip was only played once on the Division Bell tour. Oakland CA, April 22, 1994. I am from the Bay Area and I was there for all 3 PF shows in Oakland back in 1994. Too bad it was not included as a regular in the set list as t it is one of Dave's best songs.

  • LOVED THIS SONG!!!!!

  • EddieinvisibleMan, you are mistaken. They played this at the Rose Bowl and in Vancouver on the Pulse Tour. 100% certain on this. I was at both shows, 7th row front and center at the Rose Bowl. They didn't, however, include it in the live Pulse CD, which I don't understand. Gilmour did sing for all those kooks that think it's not him. They also performed this cut at the London show when they shot the Pulse video. So 3 of 3 Pulse performances I have seen included this cut.

  • @desertized I really appreciate the comment, and thanks. :) But I do have all the London shows (yes, ALL days :P ), and there isn't a version of the song. One bootleg (from the 28th or 29th October I think) does lists it in the tracks in the artwork, but it's a mistake, cos the song isn't there..

For the Vancouver shows, do you remember the date? I'd love to check it out and correct the description if I find it :)

  • @EddieInvisibleMan Do you have the video of the DIvision Bell Tour titled "Pulse"? They shot it in London at the end of the tour and they most definitely play the song. It's in the video.

So Is this copy of One Slip from the Pasadena show then? The Rose Bowl show I saw was April 17th, 1994 and the Vancouver shows were on the 25th and 26th of June, 1994. I think I saw the one on the 26th.

  • You know what, I'm an idiot. I'm thinking of "Take it Back", which they didn't include in the Live CD but did have it in the video they shot at Earls Court Oct 20, 1994. Love that song. I was mixing it up with One Slip, but I know they played One Slip at the Rose Bowl. 100%. My previous comments has Take it Back in mind so sorry for the confusion. I still can't figure out why they left out Take It Back on the Pulse CD. Odd.

  • @desertized I did find these 2 Vancouver dates: pf-db.com/index.php?concert_id=1208&bootleg_id=2239 and pf-db.com/index.php?concert_id=1010&bootleg_id=1623 but I don't see the song played at either night. Thanks a lot for the comment again :)

  • @EddieInvisibleMan you tube sucks for sharing links and urls ,it doesnt work ,but it never does, please pm me if you get this id love to see/ hear that !!

  • @desertized Pink Floyd didn't think that this style was as powerful as the late 1980's.

  • It is Gilmour for sure, but this version is really strange to that it was in "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" album

  • i guarantee,is David....i know this performance is really rare, maybe for this is difficult to realize this are Pink Floyd:)

  • i have to laugh. thinking this is not gilmour. after listening to scores of bootlegs, you can tell the difference between gilmour in a studio and gilmour on stage. of course this is gilmour, it's exactly how he sounded during the 1994 tour. remember this recording is a bootleg, recorded by someone in the audience on a microphone. bootlegs are only high quality when the sound is recorded straight off the mixing desk. thanks for the vid, i didn't realise they'd performed this on this tour!

  • it is not gilmour man.. who the fuck are you trying to bullshit???

  • @cheminwey v=82tEmwc3lP0

who the fuck are YOU trying to bullshit?

  • @EddieInvisibleMan lol some people are idiots man , dont get all pissed , they dont know shit ....

  • @cheminwey you're a fucking moron, you're not allowed to call yourself a pink floyd / gilmour fan... let me guess, you've never seen him live have you?

  • @dustinkirk I'm taliking about the picture. That is NOT PF. Who the hell are you to allow me to call myself a fan?? And I did see them live in 94. According to you anyone who has not , has no right to be a fan??

    Prick.

  • @cheminwey OK, yes. thats probably the australian floyd in the pic.

  • @cheminwey Seriously? who is it then? tell me.

  • @cheminwey

youre retarded. this is david gilmour. learn the mans voice before you make a fool of yourself!

  • I think the device that recorded might have somthing to with the his voice, like its def. not enhanced at all. and if you dont think it sounds like him, search up any live video of about face or somthing and you'll see.

  • Don't know where, but it's him. There's no reason anyone should sing it while he's there too.

  • Comment removed

  • this is gilmour singing, granted he sounds not the best, but after so many concerts would you ????

  • That is NOT David Gilmour singing.

  • @mahajohn Just get the bootleg, okay? It's really tiring having to answer the same thing everytime, just because "this doesn't sound like Gilmour"..

If you don't believe it's him, download the freaking thing first, and if it's not the same version, THEN come to post it here. Not the other way round.

Thanks and sorry it's you that's getting the negative reply but it's really tiring seeing the same things again and again.

  • man... i dont quite get the arguing here... that is totally Dave in the vocals, i mean... havent you ppl heard enough live PF?

i must say though, its not the best recording...

  • "That singer isn't Gilmour!!!!" --Some idiots.

  • That IS Gilmours voice.

  • its pink floyd, just not in the picture

  • It's very simple - listen to this / back-to-back with 'One Slip' live from Omni Atlanta. Not their lights & plus the instruments/mix are majorly simplified. Clearly not Gilmore and the gang. Overall sound's from a much smaller room than PF plays. I've seen them 4 tours live, t'ain't PF.

  • Not bad

  • Not Gilmour Mate !

  • I never knew! Thx for posting...I was GA. Tech in 94 and they didn't play it...

  • I saw that show in KC and Missed them playing this one too.. I SOOO wanted to hear it . It was great on the Momentary Tour..

  • Was There xD For All 3 Nites, The Rainy Nite Was Cold But Worth It ! Still Have The Chair Pad From Being Seated In The Infield Close To The Stage....

    Rock On!

    Peace And Harmony,

    [[[[ Wild Wizard ]]]] \m/ \m/

  • Probably my FAVORITE Floyd song... And live!!! (Tony Levin would've better on the tour)

  • I think the bassist is Guy Pratt here..

  • I agree!!!!

  • gave it a D- on the sound

  • Sounds great to me! (Remember, this is a bootleg ...)

  • why do people keep calling it one slip?!?

  • Maybe 'cause it's the name of the song. :)

  • on bad slip n ull fall

  • they played one slip at the meadowlands

  • It is Pink Floyd, but 1988 Tour. The picture is from Australian PF, but sound if PF, i think.

  • this is not the PULSE tour stage (Pic). This is the Aussi PF stage

  • Definitely has the sound and feel of the '94 shows. The '87-'89 tour had an energy and feeling of incredible optimism that they didn't manage to re-produce in the '94 tour. Gilmour has said the MLOR tour was "crash-bangy", but I prefer the over-all excitement of those shows.

  • yea i got the vid to this

  • This was ONLY performed ONCE, during the second night at the Oakland Coliseum in 1994. This is the real deal (the audio). Listen to the percussion during the intro, very different than in 1987-89.

  • seening them in 1994 in mile high stadium in colorado, what an awesome show that was, today, I don't think they can top themselves with that kind of proformance.

  • If you dont think this is Sir David Gilmour then i suggest you listen to their full albums and also this the Pulse gig not the Delicate Sounds gig 1 of the 1st in fact we are not worthy

  • @lee1pee Delicate sound of thund. is better.

  • Everyone who doesn´t reconize Sir David's voice, can´t call himself a PF fan. <.<

Hey EddieInvisibleMen, Im trying to find the bootleg, but haven't found it, any idea where can I download it?

  • For me, its not pulse version, but the delicate sound of silence version. Not the one form the VHS version, but another one. Anyway, excellent!

  • I'm quite sure this was the Delicate Sound Of Thunder Tour.

But the stage shown on the pic is definitely Aus PF.

  • I bow to your knowledge sir, but there is still a little doubt at the back of my mind !

  • lol at the comments, cmon this is the man!

  • this aint Gilmour

  • bigneil8888: Actually, it is. I've heard this entire boot before (although I don't have it anymore). I know there's a video version of it too. The video of the '94 performance of this song used to be on YouTube but I can't seem to find it now.

  • Wow I had no idea they ever played this song on the Division Bell Tour! I saw that concert 4 times and it blew me away!

  • nice roland sound effect "whoo" at 2:55 !

  • I'm an entertainment professional and went to both the DSOT and Pulse shows here in Minneapolis. This is NOT the set. First off the center screen is too small. There aren't enough VL-5's around it. The outer lights are modern and not the original Varilites that Marc Brickman used for either tour. The patterned background was never used, nor easily achievable at that time. The voice is not Gilmour's. This leads me to concur that it's the Australian PF Experience.

  • The set IS Australian PF, but the voice IS Gilmour as well ;)

  • Of course its not the stage from the Division Bell tour. But don't let that throw you off.

It is Gilmour's voice. You can spot it out a mile away.

And besides look at the set list for "The Oakland Bell" bootleg. One slip is there.

Just because the picture is from the Australian Pink Floyd Show, you assume the bootleg is too.

  • Sounds like David Gilmour to me, and GP on the bass too, FWIW.

  • dude this so DAVID FUCKEN GILMOUR

  • i highly doubt this is gilmour

  • Oh for Heaven's sake, everyone who doubt it's Gilmour, just download the bootleg..

  • Are you sure? That does sound a lot like Gilmour but I don't think it IS Gilmour...

  • Yup, it's Gilmour :)

  • There used to a VIDEO of this on youtube a few months ago AND Lost for Words but they both seem to be missing now! If anybody has any idea where to find them please let me know!!!!

  • I know!! I love 'Lost for Words' and there was one video on YouTube and its been taken down! :-(

  • The voice is from Guilmour , but the image is from Australina Pink Floyd!!!!!

  • I think there's some tribute band on pic, not Floyd, cos the disproportion of the screen size, it's very small and other details.

  • I don't think there is a tribute band that would have 2 drum kits, 2 keyboard players and 2 guitarists :P

I just found the pic by googling, if I remember well, it was the only Oakland pic I found, so I used it even if 's small ;)

  • Only one drummer and one keyboardist there. That picture is of The Australian Pink Floyd Show, that was their stage setup they used for their 2008 UK shows. The video being projected on the screen is one of their CG videos too.

  • yep PF stage was MUUUCH bigger lol that's the australian tribute band :)

  • Wow, Great find !

  • Fantastic, thanks for posting. sweet bass from guy. these MLOR tracks are oft overlooked. such great lyrics as usual.

  • AMLOR is one of my favourite albums, I guess that 80's sound makes lot of people to dislike it.. But the songs were really classic
