Its meaning belongs to the romans, they had it for their executive and legislative powers (the might regulation of the state was showad as an eagle). Sorry for mistakes, it's hard to explain.

If you really want to learn how to swear in German you just have to watch the first scene from "Full Metal Jacket" in German... Best swearing in German I've ever heard... and I AM German :-)
Really great. Deine Oma hat Hängetitten^^ lmao. Just a little thing. Dummscheißkopf doesnt exist. We say scheiß Dummkopf. So scheiße means also fuck like in fucking idiot. Or what the fuck is was fürn scheiß. But not Ich scheiße dich that would be weird.
softer, and ich habe hunger, try to say hunger not so english....and btw, no one ever would ever say hosenscheißer or dummkopf.. try to pronounce each letter and make sure you look for consonants and vowls ;) but otherwise you did a good job considering that you're still learning
i think you could translate "scheiß egal" with "what ever" "who cares" "i don't care".
usually it is used to end a sentence, topic or a discussion very quick, in which you are not interested. usually to say "Das ist mir scheiß egal!" is really rude in case of a conversation. :)

your pronunciation is good! just when there's an -er at the end of the word, pronounce it more like you have a british accent, more like an -uh or -ah (hard to type this how it sounds). but yeah, other than that, pretty damn good.
i really like that video^^ it was amusing and quite enjoyable ;D and i also think that your german is very good, but most of the swearing words that you´ve mentioned are a bit "innocent" like "Mist"....XD as a german i can tell you there are a lot of words which are much worse than this...really worse XD but anyway, good job! ;DDD
lol i told my guy friend that i had a crush on and knows a lil bit of german i told him bumsen sie and he was like huh? and then i was like kiss me then he was ohh i get it then he was quite for a while then finally he said do i have to do it? and i said if you wanna he did lolz!
that was funny to watch for me as an austrian. but your german is very good.
now you could try something like hurensohn, what means ´´son of a bitch´´ or arschloch means ´´asshole´´, and finally schlatzfotze which is austrian, not german , it means something like ´´dirty, ugly, stinky pussy´´.
@brysonwilliams70 wow that's interesting for me to hear: You really think german is easy to learn? You know I'm german and everyone says that german is damn hard to learn :O
@katebieh english isnt that different and i have a pretty good memory for languages. I thought latin was easy too. the words in german get freakin long tho lol
i liked the grandma comment :) and your german was good. it's difficult translating sometimes because there aren't always the words for what you mean. well done
the symbol on the flag is only used in official institutions like the bundetag (similar to the white house, quite.) I don't think it's really allowed to carry the flag with the Bundesadler in public. It's kinda stupid, but that's how it is. Usually we only have the normal flag with the three coloured stripes.
your german is pretty good! the only real mistake I noticed was that you said "Scheißewetter" instead of scheißwetter. but that´s no big deal ;) how long have you been learning german so far ?
@coolcat12121 So they teached you how to swear in the last 3 years at school, eh? ^.^
Ok, more examples:
If a german is really pissed off, he says something like "Was für ein gottverdammter Scheißdreck!" or "Ich habe die Schnauze gestrichen voll!" or "Du kannst mich mal kreuzweise am Arsch lecken!"
And always remember, the german language fulfills the highest swearing standards in the world. Just pronounce it right, shout it out and your american friends will shit their pants, haha. ;-)
haha its not schiza its scheisse(u know that weird B lookn letter well it acts as a double S so thats how u sayit not like schiza like everyone knows.) im not fluent in german all that much but i know enough to teach sum1 sumthn lolz im teaching myself german lolz but ya nice job german is a hard language
i wanted to post a link. it does not work. youtube sort of block it. when someone is interested in a link with a short text about the flags that explains the issue i mentioned before, then gimme a PM. i'll send u the link
this flag is used by employes of our government. it means u represent the government. u are not allowed to show this flag in public in germany (as long as u dont represent the government). normal folks like me use the flag without the eagle. still most ppl dont care about this law and use this flag with the eagle nevertheless. u can do the same. as long as u dont run around with it in public. but dont worry. never heard that someone got arrested because of it.
adding a 'hard' stressed word like "Dreck" (dirt, rot, filth) to rather smooth, fast spoken words like "Scheiße" transfers the hate always good^^ and if something IS rotten, then you of course use it like "dreckig/e/er/es" (adjective)
like in "Du dreckige Schlampe" (you filthy bitch)
I personally like to quote German phrases out of "Bud Spencer und Terence Hill" Films, because they dont really hurt, but are often so creative and famous, that they can ease Situations.
oh and btw... the Hängetitten one was creative^^ I think you beat best when you come up with something your counterpart does not expect/have heard all day.
I used to make up a random Insult to translate to spanish (because hey... swearing in all kinds of languages might get useful some day, no?) The sentence to go in german was: "Deine Mutter hat einen schönen Schnurrbart" (your mother has a sweet mustache)
highly recommended(also quite creative and disturbing) some Klaus Kinski rage-outbursts can get quite handy(very unsettling)... there are some videos on youtube of him doing so...
You're good ar cursing in German - and German is my mother tongue! I nearly pissed myself seeing cursing you in German.... NO OFFENSE! You're quite good. But "Hängetitten" is very very very seldomly used in German ;D .... But if you really wanna insult somebody, German is the right language for you! German is the "Insult-Language No. 1" in the world. ;)
Its the Flag of germany, only with the 'Staatswappen' on it... (Staatswappen is quite simmilar to the 'great seal of the united states') By the way, he pronounces the 'ch' like in 'ich' better than many other german-learners!
Entweder bist du Deutsche oder Deutscher, aber "ich bin deutsch" geht mal garnicht. Das Wort für die Person und das Adjektiv/Adverb sind zwar im Englischen das selbe, aber eben nicht im Deutschen.
confusing but yeah.. tried to explain as much as I could.. by the way, essen Scheisse und sterben is a funny "phrase" when you tell it to teachers you're pissed at X]
Lol. I'm fluent in German and yeah.. you pronounced them pretty good for someone who isn't fluent in them.. umm.. it would be better if you taught people how to spell the stuff like Scheisse.. thats how you spell it out and yeah I don't have a German keyboard and I don't know the Alt nums so I can't really explain but like ei sounds like I.. ie sounds like E in the words.. there is alot of German letters and words that are differently spelled and are hard to understand if you aren't fluent..

This thing in the middle of the flag is the so calles "Bundesadler". You can visit the english Wikipedia "Coat_of_arms_of_Germany" if you need more information.
Btw: You can translate I'm hungry to "Ich bin hungrig" which means exactly the same grammar as the English one.
echt nicht schlecht. auch wenn die aussprache nicht ganz perfekt war.
das ding in der mitte der flagge ist übrigens der bundesadler, das wappentier der bundesrepublik deutschland. ähnlich wie der der weißkopfadler im wappen der usa.
some advises from me, as a german: theres one big difference in cursing. english people use more sexual things, fuck you, fucker, and stuff like that.
germans dont use that as often, we use things that go together with excrements. like you said: scheisse 'shit' or mist 'same as scheisse', but more polite. or arschloch (butthole). do use 'arschloch' not 'arsch'. 'arsch' is like 'buns' the part of the body you sit on. so long (leckt mich am arsch! xD)
i said 2 my teacher diene oma hat hangetiten and she said wat does dat mean and i said have a good day teacher and she said diene oma hat hangetien to all of us!!!!!!!! ty ty ty
that's a little bit complicated (typical german ^^):
1st: the official german flag has no symbol in the middle.
2nd: the flag with symbol is the flag of the german state. only institutions of the state are allowed to use it.
3rd: the symbol your flag has is a little bit different than the one on the real state flag. this one has no meaning at all... you could call it a fake state flag. it was made because civilists aren't allowed to use the real one ^^
more german words? :) often used: penner = bummer faggot = schwuchtel idiot = idiot, depp, trottel, schwachkopf, dummkopf asshole = arschloch fuck you = fick dich kiss my ass = leck mich am arsch or just leck mich get outta here = verpiss dich and the most humiliating word: hurensohn = son of a whore and to have a nice ending of the comment: Have a nice day! = Schönen Tag noch! :)
germany and bavaria are like two different things ^^ austria is more similar to bavaria. we have the same forefathers: "bajuwaren" (engl.: baiuvarii) an old tribe with celtic and germanic roots.
the rest of germany is prussian (which is actually a cussword in bavaria ^^)
1. "bayern ist scheiße" soll ich dazu jetzt noch irgendetwas sagen? sagt doch schon alles über dein niveau ...niveau ist übrigens keine handcreme! ;)
2. in bayern wird umgangssprachlich jeder deutsche, der kein bayer ist als preuße (saupreiß) bezeichnet. habs schlecht formuliert, aber hatte keine zeichen mehr...
außerdem: viel spaß weiterhin in deiner preußischen traumwelt. byebye
the symbol on the flag is the german eagle. like the irish with the harp. like a national mascot. ur pronounciation. "so ein ein mist" 1st word sounds a bit like "tso". just pronounce any single "s" like "z" in the english language. te rest sounds pretty good. (im german). btw: dont get fooled by the spammers: schneider means tailor and is not a swearing expression. bitch is a weird word to translate cuz it probably means "schlampe" which imo is rather "slut"
Well I don't speak german, but I thought you were GREAT and I learned so much! I can't wait to surprise my german friend...He will love it! :) But I wont say some of the harsher things. I loved it!!! Thank you
Hey man good lookin out. That is the coat of arms of Germany.or sorry Deutschland =] One way to help with pronunciation is listen to German music, like rock Rammstein or die Toten Hosen or rap Fler is good or ,Bushido is ok I guess, or like more R&B you have Glashaus or Silbermond are good.I don't know much German but am learning thru music and translation and movies and things. There are just no classes I can take near me. Good video tho!
I was gonna tell you that the main thing you need to work on is your pronunciation. I am also not a native german speaker, but I've studied it for about six. However, you've got a german honey on your comments who likes your accent, so it can't be all bad. I still think that a native speaker might not totally understand you at the first listen when you said a few of those. Listen to Boehse Onkelz to learn other fun phrases.
u can also say "du bist ein Scheißekopf(you are a shithead)" or u can make it short and sweet and say "du Scheißekopf (you shithead)". it's my favorite sentence or insult to say!
Hi I am from Germany..and I really enjoyed your video. I am in England right now to improve my english.. and it is really fun to teach english people how to swear!!PS. the sign on the flag is the german eagle.
even though your aren't exactly "fluent" in german, i would like to add something to improve your speech in it. When you say "Scheisse (or Scheiße)", You say the e at the end too long. You should say the e at the end short and quick.
hey, i just saw your video, i am from austria, graz and i mus say that your german is not bad at all. i really like the word haengetitten. hahaha das hoert man normalerweise nicht, so i thought it was funny. oh and the flag thats the german adler.
ok also dann, ich hoffe dass du dein deutsch noch verbessern wirst/kannst.
dein video is nicht schlecht aber nicht gut i habe 19 jahre in deutschland gelebt und ich weiss alle schwerwoerter haha aber nicht an hier zu viele kinder bezuchen u-tube ok aber mach weiter so und du wierst alle woerter lerhnen :)
Habe alles ohne Probleme verstanden. Deine Aussprache ist in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht ganz perfekt - aber bei wem ist sie das schon. ;) Lustige Wörter, die du dir da rausgesucht hast. ;)
Der Adler auf der Flagge ist der "Bundesadler". Search for "Coat of arms of Germany" on wikipedia for infos about the eagle on the flag. Wünsche dir alles Gute und noch weiterhin viel Erfolg beim Deutsch lernen! :)
Somehow i cant look in your face, cause i cant get my eyes off that shirt.

das ding in der mitte der flagge ist übrigens der bundesadler, das wappentier der bundesrepublik deutschland. ähnlich wie der der weißkopfadler im wappen der usa.
schöne grüße aus köln!

how fun it is to spoil kids :p
some advises from me, as a german: theres one big difference in cursing. english people use more sexual things, fuck you, fucker, and stuff like that.
germans dont use that as often, we use things that go together with excrements. like you said: scheisse 'shit' or mist 'same as scheisse', but more polite. or arschloch (butthole). do use 'arschloch' not 'arsch'. 'arsch' is like 'buns' the part of the body you sit on. so long (leckt mich am arsch! xD)

about the symbol on the flag:
that's a little bit complicated (typical german ^^):
1st: the official german flag has no symbol in the middle.
2nd: the flag with symbol is the flag of the german state. only institutions of the state are allowed to use it.
3rd: the symbol your flag has is a little bit different than the one on the real state flag. this one has no meaning at all... you could call it a fake state flag. it was made because civilists aren't allowed to use the real one ^^
weird huh?

oh ok thanks i didnt know that, German culture is a little confusing. Are u a native German?
coolcat12121 2 years ago
i would call myself native bavarian :)
another complicated thing about germany ^^
germany and bavaria are like two different things ^^ austria is more similar to bavaria. we have the same forefathers: "bajuwaren" (engl.: baiuvarii) an old tribe with celtic and germanic roots.
the rest of germany is prussian (which is actually a cussword in bavaria ^^)

1. Bayern ist scheise
2. Der rest ist preußisch???
was ist mit Baden? was ist mit Würtemberg? Hannover? Pfalz? Holstein? hessen?

außerdem: viel spaß weiterhin in deiner preußischen traumwelt. byebye
BeyondOrwell 2 years ago
ich sehe keinen unterschied zwischen "bayern ist scheise" und " jeder der kein bayer ist, ist ein saupreiß"
Irgendeiner muss dir und deinem ländlichen bayrischen Weltbild ja Einhalt gebieten...
TerraP 2 years ago
das wort saupreiß hat historische/kulturelle bedeutung im gegensatz zu deiner schwachsinnigen aussage - du saupreiß du greisliger! :P

hey ur German is really well XD
it seems u like Germany so much don't you
do u just learn it by urself or it's a subject at school or what
kurokurii 3 years ago
the symbol on the flag is the german eagle. like the irish with the harp. like a national mascot. ur pronounciation. "so ein ein mist" 1st word sounds a bit like "tso". just pronounce any single "s" like "z" in the english language. te rest sounds pretty good. (im german). btw: dont get fooled by the spammers: schneider means tailor and is not a swearing expression. bitch is a weird word to translate cuz it probably means "schlampe" which imo is rather "slut"
use with care: cunt=fotze
escobar2203 3 years ago
the thing in the middle is like an emblem from german government flags. i was wondering that too!lol

RPHELPS922 3 years ago
so ein mist is pronounced more, zo ine miest (something like that)
HooverBeast 3 years ago
Hey, not bad.

Hi I am from Germany..and I really enjoyed your video. I am in England right now to improve my english.. and it is really fun to teach english people how to swear!!PS. the sign on the flag is the german eagle.
xsoeckchenx 3 years ago
even though your aren't exactly "fluent" in german, i would like to add something to improve your speech in it. When you say "Scheisse (or Scheiße)", You say the e at the end too long. You should say the e at the end short and quick.

Sorry..I meant to hit to thumbs up button...not the thumbs down. Scheisse! Sorry

Charlymaumushi 3 years ago
das Symbol in der Flagge ist der "Bundesadler". Es ist eine Art Zeichen für Deutschland und hat sehr viel Tradition.
Manchmal wird die Flagge mit einem Adler abgebildet. Normalerweise ist die Flagge aber einfach nur dreifarbig und hat keine Symbole.

*giggles* Neat!
Though you usually don't say "dummscheißkopf". But the rest was nice.
Want some more?
"Wixer" ('formal" spelling: "Wichser") - Jerk, Wanker, something like that
"Sackgesicht" - translates to something like "scrotum face" - yet another way to say "asshole"...
"Deine Mutter..." - German version "yo momma":
"Deine Mutter ist so fett, die hat 'ne eigene Postleitzahl!" - "Yo momma's so fat, she's got her own zip code!"
Oh, and "Leck mich am Arsch" can be reduced to "Leck mich"...

Habe alles ohne Probleme verstanden. Deine Aussprache ist in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht ganz perfekt - aber bei wem ist sie das schon. ;) Lustige Wörter, die du dir da rausgesucht hast. ;)
Der Adler auf der Flagge ist der "Bundesadler". Search for "Coat of arms of Germany" on wikipedia for infos about the eagle on the flag. Wünsche dir alles Gute und noch weiterhin viel Erfolg beim Deutsch lernen! :)
