im planning on getting the R6 or Cbr600 which do you prefer?? and for the R6 i heard it rides high, i;m 5'7 will i be okay? or should i lower it a tad bit? or that will mess up the handling?

@bukelek for me, Yam all the way.. the R6 is unpredictable unlike the rr600..they pretty much ride them selves..rider safe bike them are. you would fit the rr600 better,n yes you heard right, the r6 does sit high.. so id go to yer local dealer and sit on a few before u actually buy. hope this helps and good luck on picking a bike. cheers

luv it. works very well and a stand up company. my seals leaked after a year, sent it in and they replaced it free. i have nothing but good words to say bout em. i highly recomend em. and it preforms so well. gud luck on ya choice m8. cheers

here in the US a 09 R6 will cost you anywhere from $8,000- $10,000 it really just depends if its used and i guess what all you want done to it

With the race system that is the same as a full system right. If you get the race system is it meant for the track or no. I am new to the whole bike thing so just getting some background info. That bike sounds extremely sick. the flames to.

there are differences, but  can be used on the street... its ment for the track...but really not a big deal ya. welcome to the darkside, stay safe.

some exhausts are made only for the track and you can get a ticket is you get cought riding with one on the streets

Where did you order the Akra from? Im lookin for the same exact for my 08 R6 and they all seem to be offered in TI only. I prefer the carbon since mine is a raven. Nice 6 btw.

R6 is a track race bike better for sharp corners at high speeds an hauls ass out of the corners on straights, R1 is better for straight drag racing off the line but can corner just not sharp corners like the R6 so it has to slow down through the corners while the R6 will fly past it through the corners an still beat it in the straights since it takes more time for the R1 to regain its speed coming out of a corner an the R6 can keep its speed in corners an accel even faster out of the corners.

122hp now..stock is like 112, so it made a nice difference..pick up the bottom end a little, increased the mid rang nice. now i gotta do the 520 conversion
