a totally amazing band...but those of you who remember Jane Vessy on keyboards know that they have never been the same....but they are still a great band....
I spent many wondrous nights hanging with Rick and Donny Walsh at the El Macombo, their home bar wback in the days when they were just building their reputation as a world calss blues band.
They are so TORONTO Blues ! That's a good thing !!! Chuck is doing a good job, too, in my opinion. Always have been always will be a big fan !.....PeaceLoveBlues...spread the news !
you got to see these guys live, they will be performing at massey hall november 23rd , i think the date is correct, with dan akroyd. my uncle playing the drums for elwood blues
One of my all-time rock'n'roll favourites. Of course, originally was done by the Boss of Blues, 'Big' Joe Turner, but I always considered him as the real father of rock'n'roll. Greetings from Spain
cool the band that inspired fellow Canuck Dan Ackroyd to create the blues brothers. awesome..its funny eh,,mick jagger and other rockers get grief for rockin out as they get on..while bluesmen play till theres no breath left in their bodies..and thank goodness for taht eh

No offence intended to subsequent singers, but "Flip Flop Fly" should have been retired after the Hock passed. His voice WAS that record!

Love this! I did not know 'Mick' got 'grief for rockin'..they make more money than any band alive, and everyone goes and rocks.
BUT.. DOWNCHILD.. makes some of the BEST of the Blues! And yeah it rocks! Rock ON Mr.DC
