  • Who's on first?

  • @TomSFox What's on second?

  • @knuxthefox Shut up.

  • @knuxthefox then who is on third?

  • @lonefisherfox I don't know

  • I miss the good old days of gaming. Nowadays it's just about graphics and casual game junk..

  • A few years ago a sequel to this game was in development, but I'm pretty sure it's dead now.... There are some new 2d games on the horizon that might be the kind of direction we need. Games like Dust: An Elysian Tail for Xbox Live Arcade and the yet unnamed Sonic game currently referred to as Project Needlemouse, which is itself a throwback to the original project name of Sonic The Hedgehog for Sega Genesis. Games like Geometry Wars show that great new games don't need high def graphics.

  • awesome! :D

Too bad modern games only got good graphics and lack in creativity like this scene here...

This was my first adventure ever I played when I was like 7-8 years old, it´s such a great game ;)

  • loooooooooooooooooool never played this game I need to get round to it, it's available on ScummVM now

  • Well, the game runs on ScummVM. The DOS version runs on most versions of ScummVM, including the DS port. The official Windows (XP) version isn't bad either. I used ScummVM to emulate the original sound processor the game was written for; Roland XG. However, I regret flaws in the sound emulation as there are parts that are way too loud as is plainly and possibly painfully noticeable in the ending video.

  • Best game ever^^

  • lol, i remember this game, but i got stuck on the dungeon, and then i lost the game...sigh

  • dammit, I lost the game.

  • looooooooooool :D

btw: in german this game was called "Erben der Erde"

  • I love this part so much lol

  • Why? Videogames are very much a part of today's society. Movies, music, and independent films are commonly inspired by videogames, and games know no age. If you think videogames are just for kids, then you're just way behind the times. They have had an audience of all ages since at least the 80s.

  • LOL

awesome, made me laugh pretty good :)
