Just saw one of those the other day ocean fishing almost that size. Incredible. The thing just hung out by the boat checking us out for like 15 minutes. He got so close I reached out and grabbed his top fin. Didn't seem to bother him at all.

@carlsononly Yeah, California sea lions. When the sunfish all swim into Monterey Bay, the sea lions tear their fins off and throw them around like under-water frisbees. :-( We don't really know if they have other predators, as very little reasearch has been conducted on them.
