Evel used modified harleys.His harleys weren't stock he had the all the weak points on the frames and suspension fixed and made better.but still he did do cool stuff.

Evel was a great showman and he was SUPER brave and would always go ahead with a jump

even when he wasn't sure if he could do it...

He had very little idea what was going on from start to finish of a jump and certainly wasn't using the best bike around at the time.

Don't think he was a particularily skilled bike jumper BUT Massive respect for his courage and bravery.......

That's an awesome bike. Service Honda makes them. It's a CRF frame with the awesome CR500 2-stroke engine in it. The bike mags have done tests with this bike, and heads up they beat the heck out of the thumpers.

He did it in a rocket and tried to jump a small finger of the canyon. It went straight up in the air, tossed it's parachute and went to the bottom. Weak attempt!!!
