gosh people complain too much. stop comparing it to the anime. of course the anime will be better because its fake people meaning you can design however you want. However, the drama requires real "human" actors if you can't tell. Do you know how hard it will be to find a left handed, pro tennis player that's also a great actor?

Japanese version was basically made base on the manga, and the manga itself is already unrealistic. However, the japanese version brought out the cockiness and hided talent of Ryoma-sama. He doesn't smile and looks that pathetic in the manga. He always has the aura of confident and the eyes always look down on his opponent. He half smiles when he found the open space in the match....This C-version is ok too......but it just doesn't make him stand out that much....kinda bored and predictable....

I totally disagree that these Chinese casts are better looking than the Japanese casts of this movie. Kanata Hongo played Ryoma's role very well, his acting was so awesome, his way cooler and better looking than the one up there.

Japanese cast are a lot better than chinese casts. You can really see the difference.. The anime is Japanese. no other race can portray the role much cooler than the japanese them selves.. it's the japanese nature .Ryoma Echizen doesnt look like Ryoma echizen here..unlike in the japanese live action series.. the bottom line is the Japanese portray anime roles much better than any other asians.. Hey im not like being a racist or something. Its just that Japanese are the best. :)

I doubt anyone who made this drama knows about tennis - first, the guy acting Ryoma cant even hold the racket, which is evidenced by him not holding it down the very end of the racket - secondly he cant serve, thirdly, he cant hit shot and his hand that doesnt hold the racket looks retarded - there we go

Whats wrong with his serve, its a little stiff but still, so yeah, I don't know where your getting this, and who cares about the other hand, its not about show, its about winning and losing, even if you do have to use dirty tactics to do it. Though not the one Ryoma and Momoshiro did, like I mean you can aim it at their legs or face for all I care, whatever gives you the edge and has you getting stronger.

they overemphasized the brotherly thing, and the father and son confrontation is a little overblown

most of cast members have acting skills but the person that plays fuji cant act

while kanata hongou may resemble ryoma more, the ryoma in this show is kind of kawaii and he is the youngest looking

tezuka's actor looks a bit too old and his personality is probably quite ooc

it's funny how they are wearing uniforms even though the show is set in univ
