truthfully, i saw no difference. i replayed the video 2 times more and no luck. cloud and over leveled seph jump out of train, the strange naming of barret, having full leveled magic without materia. no difference whatsoever
If I do use a gameshark, would the game be unplayable? I have a brother who used a gameshark on his copy of Final Fantasy VII, and he said it completely ruined the game and he ended up throwing the gameshark out. Do you have any huge problems with your copy of FFVII, Myndnix?
Not that I know of- it all still works fine. It can go increidbly glitchy if I save with some of the codes on, but nothing affects the game discs themselves- just any saves. And just singular save files, I've never had a whole memory card corrupt or anything.
Hey, Myndnix, awesome video but tell us how you did that. I bet you used a mod because if you use a gameshark on the playstation version, you can't control Sephiroth at all. Actually, you can't even use Sephiroth on the third disk.
Well, I used a Gameshark disc. There's a code that enables you to control Sephiroth, but he has to be in the bottom character slot. I can't remember to code offhand- and I'm in Europe, so I don't even know if there's an NTSC version of the code.
And you can use Sephiroth in disc 3- just as long as you didn't pick up Vincent. For some reason, Vincent and Sephiroth use the exact same character base. If you try to have them both, the game locks up. You can have one or the other.
Thanks! Now I have to buy a gameshark. I actually read in a forum that you can't use Sephiroth on disk three. I'm happy that was wrong. It would suck if you didn't get to keep Sephiroth for the entire game.
