You have to choose a flight plan (from, to) and then choose navigating via IFR. Then the ATC will direct you.

@TechGuy061 What's the problem? Maybe you're holding the stick in the same position to turn so it is going to be an endless turn? I don't understand. your sensibility may be too low?! Or: Check your autopilot. It must be turned off to fly manually.

It wasn't the best i've ever seen, but not as bad as other things i've seen. Only problems is as others mentioned, flaps were down too far for T/O, gear up a little early. On the approach, you were too high which made you have a steep(er) approach and you over the runway quite a bit. Aim for the Biggest white box on the runway.

Lol? taking off with full flaps, your thrust does not go from 60% to 100% but to 100% all the way, pulled up your gear too early, you landed in the middle of the runway, and people thinks yur a great flyer...?

@TheGreatFlyer sellect the nearest airfield's in the ATC menu, sellect Touch and Go/ Or select full stop landing, Follow the instructions from the ATC, landing clearens will be given after lined up with the runway

You know, the FSX built in ATC is sooo unreal. I mean the clearence doesn't give you the departure SID or the transition.

I failed lots of my VATSIM training sessions because of the habits I got from using the FSX ATC. Don't rely on it.

the easiest thing to do is set up a flight path before you takeoff

choose the ILS option instead or VFR

it gives you all the directions

Pretty bad landing, the Aircraft is clearly not trimmed for landing - approach is far above glideslope (as you can see from minute 5 all 4 PAPI lights are white, while the first two should be red in the glideslope), that's why the touchdown is at the middle of the runway, not in the (reeinforced) touchdown zone, clearly a missed approach. In reality a 747 would probably have damaged the runway and overshot it.

I use my Pro Pedals to work the rudder.. its hard to do it with just the keybord!!
