@EuroFascist Stalingrad was an anti-German Reich film also. Give me a break and I'm Russian. Stalin was much worse than Hitler - if the Germans had gone to Russia with nice treatment of the Russian people they would gladly have joined him! That was Hitler's biggest mistake in the whole war.

Valkyrie, having all of these men and resources, had a real chance to succeed....the 'ballsiest' resistance was done with no hope of success, just to 'act,' as the other general said in the beginning.
Funny enough, the oath directly to Hitler was that Wehrmacht's own idea, not Hitler's...thinking that such an overt act of outward loyalty and recognition would make Hitler feel comfortable/secure.
