@chisaoboy Your question assumes that fat is what makes people less fat. Fat accumulation takes place in the presence if insulin, and insulin is secreted when CARBOHYDRATES are eaten. Bad fats, such as trans fats, do other bad things (cholesterol/heart desease), but generally, fat doesn't make you fat. Coconut oil:
• Improving your heart health.
• Boosting your thyroid.
• Increasing your metabolism.
• Promoting a lean body and weight loss if needed.
when they say "healthy fried food" do they mean that its not as damaging as normal fry food or that it lacks completely the effects of fry food on the body? please explain =]
@spongekupo no.... They are litterally saying that its as safe to DEEP FRY as it is to steaming it..... Yes it lacks the ability to do damage you or your food...
This video conveniently ignored the fact that Coconut Oil has the MOST saturated fat content compared to any other cooking oil. Coconut Oil is nearly 90% saturated fat...
@Britericano coconut oil is 90% saturated fat, but 62% of coconut oil is medium chain fats! and coconut oil is a plant anyways, the saturated fat in it does harm you unless it's HYDROGENATED!!!! make sense. people does days dont do research.
@sailornaruto39 Yes, it will impart a coconuty flavour to the food, but oh so yummy. This may take some getting used to if you are not an island person, but give it a try, you wont know if you like it unless you try it.
the fatty acids are not as long and are easier to digest, that is true but as far as it being healthier who knows? It has a high amount of something good in it.
@MrSpieldose In healthy fatty acids, their fatty acid tails are kinked due to double carbon bonds, and so they can't be packed together as easily and are less dense. Saturated Fatty Acids have no double bonds, and therefor no kinks. They pack together very easily and are much more dense, making them more difficult to digest.
PLEASE! I the name of all that is holy, just make 2 or 3, 10 minute videos about coconut oil. I am seriously considering unsubscribing. Forty eight 1 minute vids on coconut oil is clogging my subs box.
When you fry, you double a food's calories in FAT. Are you telling me that food fried in coconut oil is less fattening?

Just use real butter, not that you'd 'fry' per se, but you know, like when you cook eggs on the skillet to prevent from sticking.
