All these great bads of the 70's will be lost to the young. They have no idea what they're missing unless we show them. I miss this music so much. Notice how a lot of 70's bands are touring again? I go to the shows and look around and laugh when I see all of us 50+ rocking out. It takes us back to a simpler time.........

I saw Steve july 7th at the Mod Club in Toronto (last minute venue change). The lineup was the same with the exception of a hot blonde on rhythm guitar (forgot her name). The basis was a little wierd dressed in a black leather skirt with matching vest and hair bleached blond and in a pony tail ( a bit over the top). The music was fantastic and Steve played great even though he was suffering from the flu. The opening act was Rennaisance with Annie Haslam and they were also excellent. Cheers!

According to the liner notes of the Special Edition CD, he played this to the band while they were in the studio writing/recording the album, asking them for help because he couldn't come up with any lyrics to go with it. Quite rightly, they said it didn't need any and thus was born my all-time most favourite piece of music ever!

Whenever I'm feeling down, even in my darkest times, playing this has lifted my spirit and warmed my soul. Thank you, Steve!!!

Think of it. Look how far apart Steve and John are when they have that unison section in the middle. They are still in perfect time with each other throughout until the recap. Excellent musicians as well as excellent song.
