  • @Superpowerpoleful I've got the same videocard but I still lag when I got graphics at low, windowed and lower resolution. 'Can You Run It' sais that my pc is fine except for the videocard.

How is it possible that you dont lag at high? help me pls

  • i have this vga too, its my toshiba laptop,

    is this really posible,?????

what size of your vga memory?

    my vga is 256mb,

i can only use this setting to make game run smooth

    res: 1024x768

    texture: high

high setting or ultra setting is not recommended :(

  • @tightrapsMrTight Sometimes it can change but yes, it says for mine Nvidia 9800, Hahah, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.

  • in your modified skyrimprefs.ini why does the line about the graphics card say HD 5800 when you say you have 4200 ? ;)

  • hey, i have the same problem with the water, do you know how to solve it?

  • @Superpowerpoleful

Can you make a tutorial on how to install this?!? :D

  • Ive got the same card and i lag my fucking nuts off, it doesnt make any sense, because i have 8gb of ram, as well as a 3.2 ghz amd processor..

What do i do, so im bit wasting 60 dollars.

  • @DontMurderTime Mobility means it's integrated, I.e: Welded onto the Motherboard and irreplaceable.

And if you've got 8GB of Ram + a 3.2Ghz processor, your 4200 Graphics card is bottle necking/holding your system back.

You might as well upgrade, or your ram and the processor is just going to waste.

Buy a slightly better one, a good fan and overclock the Graphics Card.

  • @Deathcall45 high i have the sames specs as he does when you say upgrade you mean buy another graphics card right?

  • Comment removed

  • does mobility mean its a laptop?

  • That's not ultra settings...

  • @SomeWelshGuy

    *sigh*

    Read the description.

    *sigh again*

  • @HaXeD2200 Err, the description points to an INI file. It says nothing about the title of the video, which states ultra settings. Your video does not show that.

  • Alright fuck, shut up, @TheTelv Probs go for an ati 6770 its great for its money, im getting it,

  • Ok guys you are underestimating this graphics card.... it has 3 Gb of video memory well mine says it does anyway. You should be able to run this on medium even high if your other specs are good enough with 25-35 FPS which isnt bad.

  • @TheTelv Yeah but it has 256mb of actual vram and the rest of that vram is stored on the main ram which is considerably slower.

  • @Narwhalretard none the less I run Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas and plenty other of newer games on high with 40ish FPS. I would like to upgrade tho any ideas i don't want something that will break me, but I want it to be quality. The only thing slightly lacking in my PC is my Vid card.

  • Holy shit.. I have the same card and I lag like a bitch on medium.

  • @EpicLord9 yes it shoult.

  • I have the HD 4200(NOT mobility) in my desktop, would the desktop one work as well as the mobility?

  • NO ITS NOT!

  • Is The Card overclock !? :)

  • @MsRentless I don't think you can overclock a laptop's gpu. But i'm no computer expert

  • @DarkLazyWind, Uhh nope. All normal.

  • Did you overclock?

  • @cubansupreme I think so.

  • is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 basically the laptop equivalent of the ATI Radeon HD 4200 for desktop computers?

  • @cooljamz3000 Yeah man it would maybe medium, the graphics, are still amazing you should get 20/30 fps.

  • I have the same gfx card as you but I have a single core AMD Sempron(tm) M120, ~2.1GHz cpu. So with this config file, I can still get the same performance as you? I'd subsribe to you btw ^^
