?? Are you thinking of the Weird Al - Live! DVD? Then, yes, his parents were living, when that was filmed, and they did a little introduction...but...they've been dead for quite some years

I know there has already been a buttload of corrections going on here, but I'd just like to make one last one; the DVD came out around a year after it was filmed in 2000.

Al hasn't put out anything live since then. Unless you've been watching some of those interviews with short live clips.

All the same, Al's parents passed a bit over five years ago. I'm pretty sure the last time they opened for his show was sometime in 2002.

I saw him when he was in Australia for his last tour (the one before this). Great quality show with all the classics not just the ones on the current album. The number of costume changes were amazing too...

His concerts are awesome! I got to see him on July 30 when he was in WI (and even got to meet him after & get an autograph!). I'm going to go see him again when he comes back in September. It's an expierence like no other...
