  • they're amazing - it looks like their legs are too thin to hold them up! Thanks for posting this. Nice music for it too. :-)

  • Sooo CUTE!

  • Wow when i think of deer what usually come to my mind is a big mature whitetail buck or a bugling elk not this little animal

  • They are just so cute. It isnt even funny.

They're big bodies, and their skinny legs. I want to hug it! <3 <3

  • ow i saw this on the yale museum

  • Ok it's already been stated, but I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

    Seriously, these are bad ass.

  • <3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I WANT ONE

  • Their just miniature deer. They behave very similar to larger cousins.

  • little wet noise!

    cute!

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aww.

    How precious!

    :]

  • No ladies and gentlemen, they do not eat cheeze.

  • I had never seen one before until this morning... 2 of them... lying next to a load of chickens in the morning market here on Koh Samui, Thailand. Both had been shot for food. I only now know what they are because I looked them up in WIKI. Very very sad to see them like this. I know that some people havnt the luxury of choice for food, but these were being sold quite expensively... as a 'luxury' food. Sad.

  • mouse deer (Tragulus Javanicus)or "Pelanduk", or "Napuh", or "Kancil"(Malay words) is a strictly protected animals in Malaysia.

  • r they considered rodents ???

  • Rats had legs before, retard.

  • Sweetest creatures ive ever seen.

even if they do look like retarded shrew goats...

    JUST a bit!

  • KAWAII~♥

  • its not that cute, it looks like a retarded shrew goat...

  • FUCK YOU MUTHERFUCKKKKERRRRRRR

  • lol

  • Please Google "Pygmy Deer" to see a baby Mouse-deer photographed in 1967 during the Vietnam War. You must see it. I love the video and music!

  • I just saw the photos! Mouse-deers are just too cute!

    :)

  • and how do they taste???

  • Teeeny tiny little toothpick legs!

  • Actually the mouse deer is not a true deer. They are in the same Order as deer, Artiodactyla, but they represent their own Family, Tragulidae, also known as Chevrotains. True deer, however, belong to the family Cervidae.

Regardless, I doubt this takes anything away from this remarkable animals cuteness.
