@johnnyamorrison WHAT? neon bible is a good album im not puting it down but the suburbs took it to a whole new level that mixed funeral and neon bible as well as adding something new. all of thier albums are GREAT but i do disagree. personally the suburbs is a bit better than neon bible. the thing is all thier albums oare good but i like them differently. yano?

@beetlezumbie The Suburbs is fine but it doesn't hit. Neon Bible Hits, Funeral Hits. Neon Bible talks about the world waiting for you, Funeral talks about the tragic nature of living in said world as a child. Suburbs is the longing between the pain of the two. It's nice, it's good but it doesn't take on the world like Neon Bible or Funeral.

@halifuckinfan I currently live in the suburbs where Win grew up. I think suburbs hits home really, it talks about what a bubble the suburbs really are. Life outside of it is much more real than life inside

@Topflap Yet the harsh reality waiting for you outside of said suburbs is much worse. Suburbia is dreary, sure, but it isn't painful outright. It's something to sigh about and wish away but it's also a lie. I've moved past the feeling, "Windowsill" is more where I'm at.
