Racrguy back when I posted this video I had just started driving a sPrint car. I know now it has a 360 back then I thought it was a 383. They quit running the sprints where I race so now I'm running my sporting except when the ascs come to our track. No I do not own it my dad does thats him in the beginning of the video. As for me not racing my name Is nick Clinkenbeard my number is 66 I race at cowtown speedway in kennedale Texas I have 10 wins this year so far in my sport mod.

I usually driver with my left hand too but hook my right thumb into my shoulder harness. I put my tearoffs on with the tabs on the left side so it is a pulling motion to take them off which to me is less awkward.

I race a scaled down version of these that use 500cc 2 stroke hondas on a clay oval in ca. I drive with 2 hands but each driver has their own style and that is his. I know a guy who has an amputated arm and is 1 of the better drivers out there. Some have more control driving with 1 hand it is all preference.

I have same problem racing with both hand but i keep my right and kinda hovering on top of the wheel so its right there if i need it and do most of the driving with left. i race non wing and wing 360 in CA

Um, my name is Tucker McCune, and i am also a first year ASCS driver, i race wit 2 hands, its frickin stupid not 2, i agree wit stags 15, and darkus 714, cecce12 is right, he is resting his right hand on the gear lever

i cannot race with 2 hands. i have tried several times just cant do it my arms get tangled i al most spin out everytime i try to. i have raced for 6 or 7 years, and have raced mini stocks (4 cylinder mstangs and pintos) that was my first race car won 13 races (one hand) then i drove modifieds and won 4 races (one hand) now im driving sprints. Everyone tells me to drive with two hands, Im sorry just cannot do it.

Drive with both hands! Do you realize how slow your reaction time is when your hand has to come from way down by your leg up to the wheel? You might have saved it if you had both hands on the wheel.

Actually darkus714 he is only driving with one hand. His left hand. If you watch the video you can see that his right hand comes up to pull a tearoff then it drops back down, not on the steering wheel. Right before he flips you can see he puts his right hand on the wheel.
