@JackOfBlades434 $199!!! I'd want it to come with 6 cases of beer, concert tickets to go see ((insert band nam here)) and an Xbox with a game with it!
You know, back in the NES days, randomness was usually a good thing. You could take random ideas like "plumber, turtle, mushroom," and make them work. And they worked good if you put time into making them look nice, sound nice, and control nice.
Then, on the other end of the spectrum, you had shit like Atmos Quake. "Let's take a Windows mouse cursor and have it scroll up an endless intergalactic Backgammon board and shoot at Ouija board planchettes over and over. It'll be a best-seller."
The more I see it, the more prob;ems I can find with this crap. I may be wrong, but the some sounds in Spread Fire sound like Hogan's Alley to me. Any shooter in which you can just go from left to right while tapping the fire button is just garbage.
Crazy Shuffle is sure a pretty much self-describing title and I think some people may be able to insert a Robotnik joke while watching the Crybaby gameplay.
Finally, being Mexican, I find Sombreros to be offensive.
I will say this, the creators of Action 52, even though they can't code, they at least make decent music and most of the games, when improved can make some of the best titles ever seen in a game, the only thing that prevents all of this from happening is the fact that they can't code.
@CrashManEXE They weren't just drunk, they were also stoned out of their minds, creating a perfect storm, which yielded this steaming pile of elephant manure.
It was a cheap case in. AE was looking on getting rich quickly. They were certainly planning on becoming millionares, they had a big franchise planned for Cheetaman, action figures, cartoon, animated film you name it. Too bad their games were just plain abysmal.
I think they scrambled names. Fuzzy Power's dude was the one supposed to be the "Non human"

Your ship in Atmos Quake looks like a Starfleet insignia! (^_^)
Your guy in Underground looks like Mario, and the girl you fought in Slashers @ 4:55 looks like Link.

Why 2/3 games rely on the same thing? Shoot the enemy and don't die, that's boring ;/

Very loosely. I once compared Meong to Minesweeper before.

Streemerz is definately a interesting concept (COUGHCOUGH*TURRICAN3*COUGH*BIONICCOMMANDO*COUGH), enemies turning into Mr. Yuk when killed aside.

I'm pretty sure people that bought this game got ripped-off. Why would a game cost that much anyway...
CrashManEXE 2 years ago
Good question.
Even game compilations with high-quality games nowadays don't cost that much.
Then again, even 1 cent for Action 52 would be too much. And I say that as a collector.
250 Dollars...LMAO. Had the Mega Drive not this price? And that's a kickass console.
