  • its more like the worlds longest bubbles!

  • I have one of the original bubble things before they were made by Klutz. I am soooo tempted to buy one of the larger size bubble makers. But we have so much fun with ours. My kids are teenagers now and they still love popping the huge bubbles I make in the street. (and skidding through the soapy mess on the ground afterward)

  • @fprintf

Amazing! That means your Bubble Thing has been functioning for almost a quarter century! Hang onto it, because soon it will be officially an antique! DS

David Stein, inventor of the Bubble Thing

  • what is the name of the song?

  • holy s*** thats jaw dropping

  • wow

  • Those are very enormas, large, big, wide colorful, pretty, and beautiful bubbles. I never made such large bubbles like that. I wish that I could though.

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • I want one of those!

  • Does anyone know where I can buy one of these in Australia either online or in Brisbane at a toy store? I've checked a few stores but they never seem to have them. They are way too expensive to buy online from overseas with the postage.

  • Hi Lill,

Yes, the postage has gotten impossible. I suggest you make your own Bubble Thing. Braid three strands of cotton string

together for the loop. Support it on two dowels. This is the design used by many professional bubble people. DS

  • Hey lill, l live down the gold coast also keen to get 1, did u end up finding where to get 1 from?

  • ive got one of them

  • Hi David, I bought your bubblething (kluster books) and I had have some fun with my kids. Now I realized that you have a new recipe with baking powder. I prepared it yesterday but today all the baking powder is on the bootom of the bucket. What can I do? (I coul not find Down in my country, so I changed it for Ivory Classic). Regards from Colombia, South America

    Catalina

  • Hi Catalina,

Yes, baking powder contains cornstarch, some of which will settle out. (That's why I recommend stirring occasionally.) It shouldn't hurt the performance though. How did the bubbling go? Is Ivory widely available in Colombia? And in

other countries around? Please let me know. DS

  • beautiful bubbles :D me and my GF is trying to make big bubbles but they keep breaking as they start to grow... :( what kind of bubble-fuel do you use? :) thx

  • Try 12 cups water, 1 cup Joy dish soap, 2 tablespoons baking powder (not baking soda). My best recipe so far! DS

  • dude.....bubbles kick ass.

  • hate if it popt in my eyes.

  • wow! this is so cool =]

  • wow this deserves alot more views. amazing. looks computer generated but i know its not. anyways, awesome job.

  • how do you do that?

what is the bubble blower made out of?

  • This is a work of art, reminiscent of Tai Chi!

Thank you for sharing these magic bubbles; the original bubblething fabric is optimised for horizontal supply of solution, giving creative freedom in bubble sculpting!

I agree with the person who called Bubblething "a thing of wonder".

    -Alan McKay

  • Hi Alan! I'm proud to hear this from the world bubble champ!

  • love it

  • Those bubbles become a completely different animal to the little ones we are accustomed to seeing. No less beautiful though. Very interesting, and calming. Great choice of music as well. Thx.

  • this is beautiful and i love it - i blow bubbles too . i dont know how it is being done here to make such big ones though?

  • This is simply a beautiful and graceful thing to watch. I can view this over and over. Nice, David See You on SBF. Fellow Bubbler, Bryce

  • Hi Bryce, thanks for visiting! DS

  • I want a Bubble Thing!

  • Hi Jancey and Gabe! Check back a while later and I'll have some in stock. Hope all is well with you. DS

  • Very nice David. Beautiful.

  • Hi Tom, thanks for stopping by, it means a lot. I wonder if you'd seen this film before. I made it in 1985, and Franklin Institute showed it for quite a while and I think the Exploratorium, and Klutz must have mailed out a thousand or so to retailers. I used it in toy shows quite a bit, finding that I could listen to Gymnopedies over and over without getting bored, it has that big booming vibration. My best to you. DS

  • awesome

  • Even more cool than the other one-- Dolly L.

  • Like other one completely awesome!!!! S.Cho
