  • how dhalsim can maintain the ppp evading fireballs ? holding butons dont work...

  • @coteton111 Do it reversely. Just don't touch any buttons. =]

  • that ultra in the end was just a mind game to confuse Fuudo more... and it worked!

  • @helhelhelhelo That's not a mind game and Fuudo wasn't confused at all. Fuudo did the EX shoryuken at the end because he couldn't anything else. If he blocked the Ultra, it would have chipped him to death, so he just threw out the invincible EX shoryuken to go through the Ultra just to show that he has heart.

  • Iyo is probably my favorite player. :)

  • @Turkagga evo 2011 champ

  • Grats Fuudo EVO 2k11 champ!!!

  • EVO CHAMP

  • like a baws

  • hahahahahahah had me laughing till the end. Mad props to the Dhalsim player!

  • Its so crazy how IYO teleports @ 2:42 then baits Fuudo by throwing the headbutt and dashing back which causes Fuudo to throw a missed shryouken. This gives him the opportunity to finish him off and do the dirty.

  • man this never gets old... so genius

  • @andysunstory Its so crazy how IYO teleports @ 2:42 then baits Fuudo by throwing the headbutt and dashing back which causes Fuudo to throw a missed shryouken. This gives him the opportunity to finish him off and do the dirty

  • ouch.... nice match

  • god that dhalsim is crazy

  • 2:45 is sick

  • What a good match. Being an Iyo fan, that was amazing. Fuudo has massive skills, but was just a little outplayed in the end.

  • nice! entertaining to say the least! ty for the upload!

  • wow. only one way out of that catastrophe.......and iyo knew it.........amazing.

  • @Turkagga

just type in his name. he beat daigo this year.

  • That can only be patience and experience, my friends.

  • A dhalsim that can switch from defensive in offensive in seconds is a extremely scary dhalsim.

  • That whiffed DP lost him the match.Close game.

  • @LiangHuBBB He would have lost if he didn't whiff it--the chip damage from the ultra at the end would have killed him if he stayed on the ground.

  • If he didn't do the uppercut whiff he would have easily won.

  • @GamingFreaksHD No, he would have died from chip dmg. He had to do it and hope Iyo wouldn't hit or miss him.

  • he could have waited for the ball to pass over before he got up

  • Fuudo got some head action.

  • damn . . . .

  • Iyo is Dhalsim's steroids... I love to play this guy online just to see how he mops my ass on the floor :))

  • nice iyo, looks like fuudo knows dhalsim pretty good

  • i dont understand how iyo can be so good

  • its tought shit for a dhalsim, this guy deserves props.

  • Respect to the Best Dhalsim atm in game ,trully a pro.

  • What an awesome finish.

  • OMG, rape

  • That backdash to bait the uppercut was godlike. He is insanley good.

  • oh, man.... Iyo didn't make a single mistake and made all the right moves in the last 10 seconds to steal a game. What a Champ.

  • @voidofambition what a spoiler. thx bro.

  • oh, man.... Iyo didn't make a single mistake and made all the right moves in the last 10 seconds to steal a game. What a Champ.

  • u fuking failure! get al ife

  • @jamerio bull!!

  • iyo's a monster his baits into super always work. haha

  • epic ending! well done iyo!

  • good ryu not betta than daigo ...

  • @LeX5294

FUUDO's Ryu Just beat daigo in the recent WCG 2010.

    EPIC FAIL!

  • 01:22 this is some creative shit I am seeing

  • damn, that was some crazy bait at 2:45

  • 2:41 amazing teleport

  • if he ultra'd instead of dping at 1:27 the game might've turned out differently

  • I mean that strong shoryuken at 2,43

  • he was trying to shoruy dhalsims jumping fierce, but Iyo went for teleport instead

  • That last round was intense.

  • wtf was that noob shoryuken

  • At the end? That was the only thing he could do to avoid dying from the ultra's chip damage.

    Nothing "noob" about it.

  • Not that one.

  • Oh ok... Haha XD

  • jesus iyo is on point with them techs man

  • pretty damn legit!!!!!!!!!!

  • iyo amazing

  • Fantastic, this Dhalsim guy kicks ass, he is hands down worlds best, IMHO.I admit I hate fireball ducking, turtling spammers like Ryu, but this Dhalsim is quite hard to master and one must have a very calm mind-he was at the edge when Ryu still had half of his health....

  • 2:43

    OH SHITZ!!!

  • lol, sick come back

  • would an ultra of saved ryu at the end? the startup frames have fireball immunity but is dhalsims ultra too slow?

  • the startup animation would have given iyo a lot more time to react than ex srk. he would have did jump in, basically the exact same outcome but an ever so slightly better chance not to lose w/ srk

  • he used a ex uppercut to escape it but then walked into a hit.

if he used ultra dhalsim could of jumped and then his and thats if he could input it in time which i dont think he could

  • No. Iyo timed his ultra so that there was no room for Ryus ultra.

  • OMG what a krazie ass come back.

  • Someone really needs to make an Iyo highlight. Pretty please..

  • Love it how Iyo knew exactly where Fuudo was going to land and what he was going to do, so instead of getting close and going for the usual high-low trickery, he just waited far enough for a punch at punish :).

  • yeah, well it's safe to assume that a Ryu that knows what he is doing would do that... it really doesn't help anyways. :)

  • Yeah. Fuudo knows what he is doing.

Unfortunately... he was in a stalemate. Either die from chip damage, or escape and die from punish.

Lol at the person who -1'd me.

    Blatant Ryu fan :D.

I was rooting for Fuudo as well, but no one can take away Iyo's skills.

  • i think u mean checkmate

    but yes i agree

  • In a definitional way of speaking, yes, it was a checkmate : ). A win win situation.

Ones that require a lot of work to set up, and both players here are top notch.

  • @keroberus2 Die from punish was a better choice, cause a mistake could of happened and his hand could of slipped. Messing up his chance to punish...they're playing for a while and them hands probably get sweaty.

  • @AgrivatedKillah

Did you see the amount of health that Fuudo had? He would have most likely died from chip. His only chance was to get away from the ultra for a chance. A mistake could have happened on the way down from the uppercut.

Plus, this is Vanilla, SF4 the whole getting out of Dhalsim's Ultra was a new concept, people were like WHAO when it happened; not everybody really expected it. So he did the right move; the only move that he could have really done.

  • oh my god i think ryu is sure win just before it ended.

  • Poor Iyo it just seems like he has to pull off crazy shit for any victory. Best Dhalsim I've ever seen.

  • @testtube173 so true

  • iyo is the shit

  • OMG

  • Basically with teching throws use the method of whenever someone gets close to you they are going to thow, ASSUME its going o happen and look out for it. Also if YOU always throw whenever an opponent gets close, you'll automatically tech 70% of throws. It just comes with experience, also ALWAYS make sure you are standing up, NEVER crouch when you tech a throw!!

  • that helps thanks

  • iyo fights REALLY cool :D

  • DHALSIM RULEZZZZZZZZ

  • And 2.40 till end if why Iyo is probably best player out there

  • wow... the end was fucking epic lol

  • Love Iyos positioning at the end of the last round. He knows that Fuudo knows his only option to survive that ultra is ex wakeup srk, and just sits down at the right place to punish him when he gets back down

  • You could've gotten smarter.

  • hahaha, lol.

  • CLUTCH BITCH

  • dhalsim is my character

    iyo is my idol XD

  • At 47 seconds in, why did iyo stop guarding after the first light punch and get hit by the ex hurricane kick?

  • Because he probably thought Fuudo was gonna try to throw him, so he was maybe trying to tech the throw but got caught with the EX hurricane

  • young g gun is right, he tried to throw tech

ex tatsu is a good coutner to throw tech

  • How on earth are people able to guess when someone is about to either attempt or tech a throw? Is there a method or is it really just guess work, cuz if it is guessing then I dont see how the pros are almostalways calling it right..

  • yeah its amazing that they know when to do it but after a while of playing u become 'conditioned' to throw teching. i personally spam throw through alot of block strings (bad habit) and in general i can tech about 50%+ of throws

i guess it comes down to experience, its not really random guessing but there are instances where they are liking to chuck out a throw

  • why do you think its a bad habit if it works?

  • i can throw tech often but theres alot of times that i go for a throw tech and they will continue to finish their block string and i eat the rest of it so thats why its a bad habit

  • You kind of have to keep pressing the lp and lk together while you are blocking a combo string from Ken, because that Kara can come at any moment...it is safe to block low while attempting to tech a throw, so I use this method a LOT!

  • ive benn thinking the same thing it seems impossible to tech sometimes. even when you know there gona throw you gotta get the timing right , crazy. i use to play tekken and getting outta throws in that seems a shitload easier than getting out of these XD

  • iyo is a genius

  • Seriously, that ending sequence was like telepathic.

  • Wow! The end was most beatiful. How he escaped the EX fireball with teleport. Then the FP canceld into backdash because he new a shoryuken was coming. Briliant!!!

  • what do you mean fp cancelled?

  • My bad. It was an aired fierce punch. Can't be cancelled like the ground fp.

  • what a cool match :O

  • Another D.E.D. loss.

  • how perfectly u play dhalsim Iyo

  • the mid air yoga teleport to avoid the hadoken was the shit

  • yogaaa

I need to say that when I dodge stuff hah

  • 0:46, is EX Hurricane an overhead or did he just try jumping out of the corner?

  • also awesome bait out EX shoryuken at the end :p

  • The ryu player baited a tech throw, wich became a throw wiff, hence the EX tatsumaki hit

  • overhead

  • what was the overhead?

  • That Yoga Tower is gangstah!

  • fuudo has 1 of the best ryu's, watch his fight wid daigo

  • great composure..he didnt panic at the the end

  • Glad to see another Ryu player loser to a rarely used character. I'm sick of seeing Ryu and Sagat win fights.

  • IYO IS SO DAMN AWESOME

  • haha i do that as well, what he does at the end of the first round. poke poke grab on wake up. it works 90% of the time. also i was rooting for Fuudo cuz hes using my character but Iyo is just too sick. Fuudo also gets raped by Daigo a lot worse during a TRF tournament. For anyone saying Daigo isn't the best he's won the last 3 TRF tournaments in Japan, which are national tournaments with all the best players in Japan competing.

  • he got 3rd at the last one O.o

  • 2:38 n1

  • dhalsim=perseverance

  • wow!! THAT IYO IS BEASTING AGAIN!

  • Iyo's comeback was pure perfection.

  • sick ass yoga power fyi

  • i really like Iyo's play style, he's clam, patient, with a lot of mind games

  • Nice but that seemed an uncalculated risk. He could've just comboed into super off the first heabutt.

  • he was goin in for the kill lol, no risk no reward they say

  • Iyo having none of that undisciplined rushdown. Yoga!

  • this VF5 lion Fuudo?

  • yeah i think it is, goes by Fuu on other SF4 vids

  • The poise and execution of this kid is fucking insane. Backing off after that headbutt and then nailing the combo to super like it's nothing, awesome shit. Those super rushdown Ryus are tough sometimes, seeing Iyo get flustered and caught by the same shit I do was kinda reassuring in a way.

  • another clutch win by the master iyo..

  • aswome comeback.

  • 2:43

    Iyo: Shoryuken plox

    Fudo: k

  • epic dhalsim

i would love to spar against this guy

    damn

  • catastrophe

  • that was ending was amazing, it looked like the ryu had him but iyo kept his cool and punished him nasty for that missed shoryuken

  • I wouldn't really call that punishing him nasty -_- Anyone who knows anything about SF knew that EX srk was coming. Iyo had that match as soon as he input the command for the Ultra.

  • I think he means the shoryuken after Iyo teleported and headbutted Fuudo. Iyo did a backdash after to avoid the shoryuken then pushed with the Super and Ultra.

  • Yep , chip would of killed him , only way to get out of that meaty ultra was ex shoryuken , Iyo waited to punish like the master he is. Awesome dhalsim

  • Yep. That was some awesome yomi going on there. I know I would have rushed right in there and gave him another chance to take back control. Learning.. Dhalsim... since all the rest of the cast is either too uber or not my style.

  • after the ultra he knew that ryu was going to do ex shoryu so he was just waiting for him to land after it. all planned ahead

  • uhh.. Fuudo didn't really have a choice but to Ex shoryu or else he was gonna eat the chip damage.

In other words, there was no need to think ahead. After the Ultra, Fuudo was as good as dead.

  • He could have teleported...wait Ryu cant do that..at least yet :P

  • iyo could have lost by the shoryuken if he tried to hit him instead of backing up

  • You don't get it... There was no need to hit him since the Ultra was going to kill him from all the chip damage.

Fuudo had no choice but to EX shoryu or lose due to the chip damage. All Iyo had to do was just wait and punish accordingly. No need to think.

  • fuudo could have ultra too but im sure the outcome would be the same

  • everyone here is talking about two different scenes in the fight. The back step under pressure into super after the headbutt was genius, and is what separates Iyo from other sims.

  • WOWOWOWOW at the end there.

    EXCELLENT job.

  • awesome finish

  • Nice match. . . 2:53 where you running to RYU? lol . . . no escape

  • Beautiful play by Iyo. He took no chances at the end there.

  • MADNESS...Absolute madness...lol Yea that combo Sim did at the end was pretty darn impulsive. GG

  • beautiful iyo had it won as soon as that super hit

  • Same Fuudo as VF national champion?

  • /i can only guess yes.

SF4 has seen a lot of converts. More to come probably as well.

  • Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about....
