hmmm i think Shiro means white..... why'd you translate it as black?

"Kurogane" means "Black Metal" or "Steel".

"Shiro(noun)" here means "Stronghold" or "Castle".

So "Sora ni" ( In the sky ) "Sobieru" ( is dominant) "Kurogane no" (black metalic) "Shiro" (stronghold).

Of course as you know well "Shiro(adjective)" means "white" in Japanese also.
