Not to my ears, Ted. I think that what you are referring to is the Argo disc called "The Essential Michael Nyman Band" that was recorded in 1991 or 1992. That had great performances on it, much fresher than the remakes made about ten years later. This sounds to me like one of the remakes. More neat in performance, but not as wild and startling as the old ones.
