  • I like this one, Nion. :)

GREAT use of light and particles....

especially the "surprise" at the end. :)

  • You've got some skill, bro. I think I may have asked you this already, but what settings do you use to render to Youtube HD? I mean what resolution/format do you render to?

  • Well I can't tell you if that are the best settings, but I use a resolution of 1280x720 at 25fps with divx or xvid codec.

  • Ok, thanks. BTW, is your profile pic a real picture or a 3D rendering?

  • It's a real picture^^

  • Wow. dude this is probably the best piece of work i've seen in blender so far.

  • blender is powerful this guys just know's how to use properly.

  • man! that really needs a tut!!!

amazing work :D you made blender look very powerful

  • I love the light rays coming out, I can never figure out how to do those.

  • halo spotlight, shadowbuffer, halo step 1 or higher. piece of pie.

  • stunning... everything from the node to the smokey floor to the explosion at the end was just brilliant

  • Cool!

  • done in blender????

  • yep.

  • AMAZING. Question: How did you create the lightrays coming out of the core, spotlights with the volumetric-halo on or just nodes? but hey 5/5 ang going to favorites.

  • It's actually a emitter, which emits 120 rotating halo spot lights at the beginning. But I also did some compositing. I rendered the halos in a different layer and then multiplied them with a distorted particle system of a third layer before I added it over the main layer. That's why they look smoky outside.

  • very cool

  • Cool beans

  • damn sweet

  • wow amazing! i felt the rocks hit my face!

    5/5

  • die lichter die aus dem ding kommen sehen krass aus ! ^^

    5/5
