_ Me : When i was 19 , i listen to the IPHONE 4S . Just touching and then enjoy my favourite Song .

  • I was really little when I heard this song for the first time, but i remeber it cause it was playing on the radio as i said goodbye to a puppy I had and my parents had to give away

  • It makes me wanna cry.

  • i like it!!! i like it!!! =^^=

  • what else can you say but true class

  • What a voice. Like liquid gold.

  • This is probably the most beautiful song of 1973...quite possibly the 70s !!!

i can never tire of this gem :-)))

  • Yes a really brilliant song by Karen :) peace

  • I love Karen...she was such a sweetheart and what an incredible voice :-)

  • what a beautiful song!

  • been listening to them since i was tiny, best music ive heard in my life.

  • truly songs writer...love them so much...

  • Voice of an angel. I was only 5 years old when she passed and I still grew to love her voice. She had an illness, people are treated for high blood pressure etc with no judgement from others and illness is an illness. No one knows how she felt, she denied being ill every chance she got which in turn shows us how ill she really was.. RIP Karen.

  • Es una canción que quedó marcada en mi corazón. Desde entonces no hay ninguna persona que pueda borrar aquel recuerdo tan especial.

  • in 70s i used to hear this song at least 10 times a day.no body can match her silky voice.i miss her.

  • I love this!

  • The first English song my teacher played in the class... it is never leave my memory since then

  • Fantastic voice! We lost such a phenominal singer - R.I.P your soul Karen Carpenter

  • I'm basically a rockabilly who loves al kins of music. I adore Brian Setzer, Stray Cats. I'm a massive Bobby Darin fan and Ella makes me weep. However, thoughout my whole musical journey, THIS is my favourite sone ever, How strange!!!

    Mikey xx

Just like before...is yesterday once more...

  • rainy days and mondays always get me down.

    r.i.p karen

  • this brings back bittersweet memories.

  • this song is for youtube because all the songs i dont remember, i found it on here. :p

  • 16 people don't like their yesterday

  • In Litlle Girl Blue Part 2 (What I did with all the money I made off of Karen Carpenter's misfortune) Randy Schmidt should pay his usual kudos to him, himself & he & mention to the world that he indeed is denton's teacher of the year, & Remind the people once again that put him on the NY times best sellers list that, He became a Carpenters fan in 1989 after watching The made for TV movie, The Karen Carpenter story, WOW what a historian (NOT) How many you tube channels does this guy have?

  • i will always love Karen's voice ♥♥♥

  • the world still misses her so much.......

  • Amazing!! Can we revive Karen and sing for us one last time??

  • when i was little, my mother used to play this song to me all the time. we would sing it together in the car when she collected me from school.

now, shes hardly home. we dont really talk and im angry cause i feel neglected, but the truth is, i just miss her :(

  • @xCowsCanFly I just wanted to say I'm sorry. Please tell your mom how you feel. Sit her down, play this song for her, and show her your post. As a mom, I know that if my baby did that, I would stop whatever I was doing, and pay attention. Life is too short, and she needs to wake up and know you need her and miss her so much. Best of luck, sweetie. You are awesome that you can express how you are feeling. :)

    Gina

  • @lsblueeyedkitten thank you. ;)

  • @xCowsCanFly youtube isn't exactly the place to air your dirty laundry

  • @SCSAZM It is if you make a video about it.

  • @xCowsCanFly then tell her that, silly

  • @xCowsCanFly great song, but sort it out with your mum please! You only get one chance, mine died aged 56 when I was 21 no going back!!

  • if only she heard and seen what we saw in her, beauty and voice of an angel, dearly missed

  • 16 persons doesn't have hearts. XD

  • OMG! Karen looks so much like Ashley Greene, like just the face not the hair!! who agress? :D

  • I hope Randy Schmidt (Author of Little Girl Blue) had the chance to watch Piers Morgan's interview with Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson, where Jermaine talks about how people write "UNAUTHORIZED" books about celebrities. Sound familiar Carpenter fans??? For as many people who have bought & read his mere pamplet of a book. Family, Friends, people who lived & toured it know most.

    Q. Did Mr. Schmidt ever even meet Karen?

    A. NO!

    Q. What would Karen think of the book?

    A. She wouldn't

  • this is a best song ever

  • No one compares to Karen. There will never be another voice like hers. :(

  • hay qua người ơi

  • Reminiscing about a song about Reminiscing about a song ! While @ of plays mean nothing to me , I am astounded that this track has so few listeners ,compared to other songs of theirs. I remember this track getting quite a bit of airplay . I would have thought more people would have remembered this.

  • its jus something about her voice that makes u at ease..........after a long dai wit ppl makin noise to u an workin on ur nerves...turn up her music an forget evryting that happened.....wish there were more singers like her......................if i was to get married i will dance wit my husband to this song

  • should not have "dislike" button

  • 田馥甄

  • YESTERDAY ONCE MORE

  • 15 junk food junkies got depressed reminiscing "Yesterday, one s'more".

  • This treasure of a woman had such a wonderfully smooth voice---so lovely. It is such a shame she had self image problems and starved herself to death thinking she wasn't thin enough--so sad

  • เพลงสมัยยังไม่เกิดค่ะ แต่โดนมากๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ

  • One of the finest songs ever written.(My favorite song in the world) It really says it all. Richard wrote it, of course it's a classic!!! :-)

  • Thank you God for loaning us your Angel for a bright shining moment in time.

  • To vmuto1 - yes, a tribute concert with Richard and everyone with Karen on the screen is a great idea.

  • No wonder God took her before her time, a voice like an Angel. Send her back God, even its for a few weeks m8., this lot have forgotten what music really is, more so a beautiful voice ;)

  • 14 dislikes ? REALY ! what kind of ears wouldnt love karens voice.

  • I would like to put this one out there & roll the Dice for the world to read & see what they think of this idea. I would Love more than anything in the world for Richard Carpenter to get the Carpenter band together (including Herb, & Burt who were a Big part) & do a tribute show for Karen &Tony. Why not one more time, for the good old times. Everyones getting older each & every year, I really believe in my heart that this would be special & Karen could be included on a Big Screen with Pictures

  • @vmuto1 I think like I said before it is a great idea.wish it would happen.

  • am I a bad person or am I cool if this song wakes nostalgic memories and I'm only 15 years old?!?! O.o

    Awesome song btw!!!

  • @hakkematforf how it could possibly ever make you bad person or uncool? Just because you like a song that so many many other millions of people like also. Actually I would say the people who don;t like this song are the uncool ones. You make your own cool....just like Karen Carpenter did....bet no one ever thought she was not cool.

  • @hakkematforf No, ur just stoned.

  • @uprite88 or that this song has been frquently played when I was younger :p

  • beautiful song ever !

  • This is the song that "can really make me cry"

  • I grew up in the 60's. with ALL my Older SISTERS and Big Brother ! We listened to Karen & All of the rest of the best! The Beatles Elvis The Jackson Five, GOD be with them all here and then. They pathed the way to MUSIC today~ !!!!! I do not and will not ever judge them on how they left us on on this earth, but I will always LEARN from them!

  • @DCWalck7511 Yes - I try to only say positive things about them - I was just so sad about Karen because I didn't understand her disease or condition back then. I used to think she would've seen she was thin in the mirror - but again I don't understand anorexia.

  • @DCWalck7511 I grew up in the 70's and I'm a punk - Crass and the Fall are my fave bands but, quality shines through! KC has an angel's voice! That's from an atheist! RIP Karen x

  • 2:12 Poor Karen, she looks like a corpse. Is the treatment today any better (for Anorexia)? It's a shame, perfectly normal and attractive young women starve themselves to try to look like women who have had their flaws airbrushed or photo-shopped out. They kill themselves trying to look like an impossible caricature of a woman. Real women have curves, dimples and flaws and are still attractive. The worst part is that it's women who run these magazines that do this. Its not what men want.

  • this is one of my favourite songs of all time..

  • are they brothers?

  • one of the 50 songs you must hear before die

  • very nice

  • @WildJuggZombrey Too bad that Karen isn't alive so we could hear more of her beautiful voice :(

  • at least 200 girls are tryed to imitate her voice, no one has had nothing to do about

but they still have tryed, no sr

  • @Aoore

My daughter is also 13 years old and love that song...

    This song is timeless

  • @caroledperez Her voice can light up any darkness, too bad she died too soon :/

  • With each day that goes by, now going on 10 months, I'm still sickened by the fact that Karen's friends Carol, Debbie & Frank actually "ALLOWED" Randy Schmidt to bring both himself & his book to East Haven & even worse Nathan Hale Elementary School. I Love & Respect all three of you & I'm really glad that the most precious & private things about Karen Randy will NEVER have to know. The post reaction that Mr. Schmidt was there was Not well received by East Haven. Still isen't!

  • not the video but her voice is out of this world u wud never get anyboby in my life ike her again. that voice is unbelievelable

  • One of my favorite songs of all time, and my favorite Carpenters song. I also listen to hard rock, folk rock, avante gard, jazz, I love music and this is beautiful music!

  • no female artist of this day has a good voice as hers... why do real musicians have to live too early in history... now were having a shortage in the present...

  • My favorite song.

  • Karen was just the best singer of all time. And she was a very, very beautiful woman. Nobody can be like she, beautiful and with the most incredible voice I listen and see. When I listen to one of her music, i think that I'm dreaming.

  • I set a challenge to everybody here.

To name a singer with a better voice.

    (Lol,There isn't one)

  • Karen had the hottest voice!

  • I honestly think the people who "disliked" this video did it on accident because this song is just beautiful.

  • her voice is so ..awesome....no one can sing exactly like how she sing..no more...she's the best! :D

  • this is their greatest song,i love it .What a beautiful voice Karen had.

  • my mom's all time favorite group. I grew up listening to the Carpenters; brings back so many memories to hear them again.

  • i really love this woman...her voice...jeez ! i'm sure even an angel's voice cnt be better than that ♥_♥

  • @akashnai90 She resides in the Undiscovered Country.

  • toi cung yeu bai hat nay ~ i love this song

  • This song will never die.

  • It seems that if you are an amazing singing talent - Carpenter, Garland, Piaf, Holiday are just some examples - your time on earth will be short but dazzling :(

  • I'm only 12, and I LOVE this song :)

  • i'm 16... :p we should b glad we enjoy good music when we're still young

  • I love this song and Im only 20 :D

  • i wish music waz still like this instead of some pple who don't hav any talent singing 2 make money.

  • it is really good just u need to understand it

  • @EnvyRecs - till the viscious copyrighters ripped them away

they must not understand that these individual songs are advertising, and will likely make them a sale!

  • @EnvyRecs Nobody sings as beautiful as Karen

  • @TaufekZainal oh yeahhhhh.. my name is karen toooooo! ; )

  • "All my best memories come back clearly to me, some can even make me cry. Just like before, it's yesterday once more." Yes. My dad bought this album fore me in 1973 about a month before he died. He knew how very much I loved this song and he made it a special point to see that I had this song. Love it.

  • my fave...every sha la la la la

  • Even if i was born in the late 90's. i got addicted to the carpenters because ms. karen has really one of my favorite vocalist. sure, she can't hit notes as high as mariah's. but her voice is really amazing. (more amazing than mariah's)

  • Oh what an angelic voice......I know the angles are gathered around her now listening to her wonderful songs

  • Love carpenters forever~

  • what a fabulous voice this girl had

  • I was 13 in 1970 when The Carpenters hit the airwaves that summer with the musical version of the one two punch with "Close To You" and "We've Only Just Begun". Little did we know then that in less than 13 years her angelic voice would be silenced forever at the age of 32. While i love all of The Carpenters music "Yesterday Once More" will always be my favorite for it is as fresh, innocent and timeless as Karen was and still is. No other voice from the last 50 years could hope to match her.

  • Im 11 and i Love this, s'pose it means however old you are or how old the music is,

You can listen to it.. (:

  • You have to make a comt.. may be not ......51 Calf. it has been a long time... John W. McCarty...if they only kew....

  • Im kind of on a mission here bear with me: I asked GOD to tell Karen we all loved her and He replied: she already knows :) Get ready folks, theres a coming Resurrection Day and on that day: Karen may sing!

  • wtf?

  • I MISS THE CARPENTERS

  • :)

  • Doo-be-doo-wang-wang...All the oldies but goodies...Those old melodies still sound so good to me as they melt the years away...All my best memories come back clearly to me they can even make me cry...

Maybe Karen had to die in order to bring attention to the problem of Anorexia, no one knew about it in those days...

She left us this legacy, a unique voice that will never be equalled, and therefore karen, you become immortal...

*sings...every sha la la la every whoa oh oh oh still shines

  • I play this on my piano all the time! I love it!

  • Im 53 yrs young and I just fell in love with Karen once again it still hurts .....but in a good way sha la la see ya on the other side I hope

  • Effortless....Timeless....One of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard....

  • i'm a 20 years old kid. The first time i hearing this song was 10,11 year old from my Dad's 聽歌學英文 ("Learn English from songs") cassette tape.I still love this song.
