Although I'd argue that it is WAY too early to tell what happens with Kadri it is starting to look like he could potentially be a pretty substantial bust. I don't know why they didn't account for his lineup in the OHL. Points can sometimes mean everything for some players and nothing for others, what he brings is skill set but i watch his skating, attitude and inconsistency and just gotta shake my head. I understand no Paajarvi with the injuries and culture shock...why not ellis?

Next year he will be on the first or second line in the nhl. Paajarvi?  You'd think a player like Paajarvi with the speed could adjust to the smaller ice but Kadri has a lot more offensive upside than Paajarvi. Ellis? Why? They already have many good defensive prospects. Aulie, Gunnarsson, Shenn, Lashoff, etc.

but to be fair, sergei kostitsyn pretty much rode the coattails of sam gagner and patrick kane in junior... Kadri is the only player on that team that looks like he's going to be a great NHL player as well so the comparison in points isn't really justified. And the skill level between Kadri and Kostitsyn isn't comparable... one got drafted 7th overall, the other 200th overall (even though his linemates were drafted 1st and 6th overall)
