I saw the fifth dimension in 1969. They opened for the Lovin' Spoonful. I went there a Spoonful freak. I left a big fan of the 5th. They absolutely gave their heart and soul at that concert. My friend at the time worked for DownBeat magazine and we had back stage passes. After the concert, I went to get the Lovin'Spoonful's autograph's. First guy I see backstage was John Sebastian himself. I asked him for his autograph, and he said NO!! The rest of the 'Spoonful came along and signed autographs.
