On some of the material on Submodalities they sound very alternative rock. These guys played their own instruments both in and out of the studio, wrote all of their own material, and really cared about their craft. Some of my fondest memories of childhood were ones filled with The Moffatts.

This band pretty much saved my life when I was 12. I went through so much crap, and the only positive thing I had in my life was being able to listen toSubmodalities, and just let it all out. I was at the last show they ever played more than 10 years ago... And I still consider it one of the greatest days of my life. I love these guys.
