I went to normandy. It's haunting. I cried just because... of the sheer amount of lines the crosses have traced on that hill. They seem endless. I felt very small.... very small. I think I finally felt a twinge of what happened there.... but again, that was nothing compared to a soilder's pain... It made me feel very small indeed.
