@MoonageDaydream2008 iggy pop didn't originally record China Girl. Bowie recorded China Girl for Let's Dance in 1983, or if he did you have to ABSOLUTELY tell me where I can hear it. :P

@richardthewriter China Girl was originally recorded for Iggy's 1977 album The Idiot, produced by Bowie. i've always thought of The Idiot as a 'Bowie album', all tracks on the album are written by Bowie/Pop, David also plays keyboards, synthesizer, guitar, piano, saxophone, xylophone,and does the backing vocals.

Yeah Bowie & Iggy wrote China Girl in the 70's for Iggys Album "The Idiot".

Bowie then released it on Lets Dance to help out Iggy with Royalties. Iggy was in the dumps at that time.
