Thank you, one of the best "Elle a fuit"- examples I have heard.

I like the Roberta Alexander one of 1988, but Martha Angelici impresses a lot as well and is far, far better than the nowadays examples of e.g. Netrebko(on youtube).

I read that Angelici sang with Elena Cernai ? I will check that, thanks for the info.

Thank you for the posting. Are you aware of the lovely Bach duets of Angelici and Cernay from Cantatas 4 and 78 (on an old Club 99 CD, originals on the Lumen label)? They're a different sort of Bach from what we're used to today, but beautiful singing still. And thank you for the introduction to Couderc, a singer I did not know.

I have been a great devotee of Doria from very first hearing.

Maria, of course, is nonpareil.
