  • I tried it with completely different products, because I don't have the same as yours, but the result was awesome! With only 2-3 colours (I mixed matt brown eye shadow with light powder and I used these two for dark and light) I made myself completely different! I'ts gourgeos! Thank you :)

  • wow you could have been 10x more successful as kate mate with a face like yours.

I see similarities.. however you are much more stunning and healthy looking! Plus you look like you :D thank you so much for this contouring tut it's such a help!! thanks again

  • Haha, I LOVE those EcoTools eyeshadow brushes! I bought the six piece brush set that came in the cotton and hemp cosmetic case, not giving the purchase a lot of thought. They are such a fantastic value!

  • how would you compare the louise young to a mac 190?

  • You totally look like Michelle Phieffer after contouring!

  • Wow, you're cheeks look like the're their own dimension. Beautiful ! I'm still practicing contouring, but it's getting better every time !

  • awesome.

  • amazing :) i learn so much from her

  • This was really informative!! Lol thanks

  • i forgot that it was a catwalk countour so i was sitting here thinking, WHAT ON EARTH IS SHE DOING !

    but then i realized, hahhaa

    silly me.

  • beautifull make-up, so well explained, I'm going to try this!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • Appreciate the contouring tips! Even though this is a 'full-on' look, I have a better understanding of contouring now. Thanks!

  • omg sam yay i now understand how to contour my cheek bones properly instead of drawing a stripe on the side of my face haha. thanks so much! love all of your videos :) you have the most amazing make up techniques and are both the best teachers!

  • Good video can u do a similar video but using the Chanel universal bronzer what's better contour with cream or powder ?????!!

  • Best Contouring video out there! :)

  • does contouring with a matte bronzer work the same way?

  • @quimoi95 in their newer vids they've used matte bronzers so contour, so probably yes.

  • why don't you show how you get the powder on the brush?

  • Simply beautiful Sam!!

  • thank you sam great video! i was just wondering if i wanted to try this please can you suggest something for asian skin i am nc40 i'm using harmony that doesn't work i look sunburnt its too pink! an not ashy enough like you said. thank you xxxx

  • Love this look, Sam! The 168 was the first Mac brush I ever bought and it is just amazing for this kind of contouring.

  • lol if you contour down it will look like you have a beard XD

  • great help for me. i didnt understand shading and highlighting before. thanx!

  • You know your bone structure very well.

  • You are a wonderful lady :)

  • @qwertypluss we think the exact same thing about what your interested in.

  • @788290 Congratulations you superficial w., life is about more than trying to touch up on your contours. But then again you wouldn't know, you're probably a golddigger who is trying to sponge as much as you can off a successful man, only to divorce him.

    Hope this helps.

  • @qwertypluss lol alright. I’m a 17 year old girl who finds makeup fascinating. You can say I’m superficial and assume the worse about me, that’s alright. Makeup is a hobby, what I love doing in the morning, what I have fun with.

You’re just an angry person. Ex girlfriend was a makeup artist perhaps? ha

  • @788290 Nope, I enjoy making people angry though, it amuses me. My comments have caused people to send me death threats on PM lol. My ex-girlfriend was actually a worker in cafe Nero, she did wear a lot of make up though? Though it's okay, I threated her like the filthy sexy whore she was. I remember our break up sex, it was great. I won't describe it though, you're too young to know too much about it. Though I did kick her out when it was over and paid for her taxi to GTFO.

  • @qwertypluss wow lmao u sound like my ex... he was a nut job too. women do their makeup mostly to make themselves feel good cuz there are guys out there lik u that do stupid stuff lik that. and generally most women are in better moods wen they make themselves up. just cuz ur ex was a gold diggin whore doesnt mean every female that wears makeup is. and dont for a second think im angry lol i felt lik helpin correct that stereotype :)

  • @sarakassi2009 You're right men do like them, but not for love, for sex. Let's be real love, when a man sees a female with some sexy make up, she's exactly that sexy... not necessarily beautiful. When you do your make up I bet you think a man will fall in love with you. Sorry love aint the case; with that perfected make up he won't love you, he'll want to ejaculate all over that pretty face of yours.

  • @qwertypluss darlin i dnt wear makeup all the time... if im gettin wit someone i make sure they see me witout makeup cuz that side of me is the one they'll see the most. i dnt need makeup lol and thnx for sayin my face is pretty i guess? if u didnt mean it that way oh well thats how im takin it :)

  • @sarakassi2009 okay. Anyway can't see you properly on that profile picture of yours ;). are you arab?

  • @qwertypluss no im surely not... im black and white but i get arab and egyptian a lot

  • @qwertypluss no im black and white... but i get arab and egyptian a lot

  • @sarakassi2009 You look very innocent, probably best not to put it there but I guarantee at least 100 youtube losers have fapped to your pics. I'd be paranoid if I was a girl. But maybe you like the fact that people get off over you. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever know. And that is one of the mysteries of life.

  • @qwertypluss thanx????

  • i think this is my fave vid of yours! You erally could model, you have the perfect face for it!

  • You said we should use cool contouring colors.. Is this true for all skintones? :) I have a warm skintone and I was wondering if it would look strange if I contoured with a cool color..

  • GENIAL! J'adore! Merci. Bien que je ne sois pas sure de trouver facilement ces produits et de refaire les manips!

  • So beautiful.

  • kate moss.

  • I just LOVE this! I always wondered how they get so much dimension. Now I can try some more tricks. Thank you!

  • is that really considered extreme? i thought it was amazing.i try to do that a lot except ofcourse the cheeks arent as contoured as that (maybe because i have naturally high cheek bones) and also less on the nose and inner eyes because im olive skinned and have natural shades. amazing u look hot!

  • amazing

    you loook goregouse

  • You made yourself look 10 years older!!

  • best conouring video ever!! Thanks so much (: I just subscribed

  • Srsly your technique alone is just so amazing and inspiring... When I watch your videos I sometimes can't believe that it's just makeup...

  • I love it!!! Extreme contouring is a lot of fun especially when you wanna take pictures ;)

  • LOVE that you used Alicia Silverstone's line of ecotools. <3

  • <3 super look

  • i can't believe you guys didn't win the cosmo awards. :( You and Nic both deserve it so much! I hope you win next time! :)

  • I am very fair but i want a lot of definition for my cheek bones like you had in the video.Which bronzer or blusher should I buy?

  • This is proberly the most beautiful, breathtaking and gorgeous looking woman who walks on this planet.!

I was wondering since you've made so many tutorials for woman... could you make some tutorials for man as well?! A tutorial in where you make the eyes brighter. How to do the eyebrowls etc etc.

thank you for the breathtaking high quality videos.

    Kind regards from the Netherlands

    Arjen

  • you and your sister are both beautiful, thankyou so much for all your hints and tips, i think they really do help alotalota women out there:)

    keep it up girls!xxx

  • really brilliant - tried it today and it worked a treat made me look slimmer in the face, my nose look better and everything all round better! THANK YOU SO MUCH X

  • amazing - thank you so much Sam and Nicola for all the time and effort you put in to your videos to make us mere mortals feel slightly more Glamazonian. Thanks x

  • Do you personally set your face? ive seen your sister set her face but ive never seen you, is there any reason you dont?

  • i tired to click the nail on the wall lol!

  • would you use the same color for a darker skin tone like brown?

  • So beautiful. Thank you!

  • this is beautiful. Same exact thing as art.

  • Perfect!

  • I said to you (Sam) via twitter (I'm Smileswhenfed), that I had bought the Sleek Contour Kit. It comes in three shades. The first I got was the 'medium' and it proved too similar a shade to my skin, so I got the darkest kit. It's really good. I have a pretty chubby face, I don't actually think I have cheek bones, just...cheek. Anyway, it's cost effective, and a great product for those with darker skins. You can get it from Superdrug. Also, comes with instructions, or you can watch Sam's vid : )

  • As a male who occasionally dons makeup, I too found this video extremely interesting and enjoyable to watch.

  • How can I get that glowing, flawless skin like yours?? =)

    Its so smooth like porcelain!

  • This was fantastic, thank you so much for this informative video! Your knowledge is boundless, I am truly impressed. I am running out to buy a contour shade immediately, bronzer will not do now!

Question: is it possible to wear this look without the nose contour, or do you think that would look odd? Thanks!

  • love your face lovvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it

  • i love all ur tutotrials! btw, they still sell taupe blush on macpro website.

  • i have a question! y have really chubby cheaks and i dont know hoy to contour them i feel i just make a brown line on them haha

should i or shouldnt i contour?

  • @joancover0389 Chubby cheeks are cute and provoke one to tweak them affectionately :)

  • @joancover0389 u should!tourng makes ure look slimmer, regardless how chubby ur face is x

  • @joancover0389 i think you should, but not as far as usual. keep the most amount really close to theear / outer edge of your face

  • @joancover0389 I personally think you should love, love, love them and play to that baby face appeal you have. Sometimes I try to achieve that look with a lower application of blush on my cheeks, and with a larger C-shape, rather than cutting them off at the hollows of my face.

  • @joancover0389 well first of all,try to use a cream product (foundation or blush) that it is TWO and only two shades darker than yourskin tone, and then try to experiment with an angled contour brush,a tapered brush (sigma's is just phenomenon) or just a small contour brush, then lightly dust some of the product to your cheeks, but make sure that you have done the fish face before!!!

  • awesome video!! you are soo pretty!! can't wait to check out more of your vids!! xoxo

  • you're so pretty you look like a model you should do more vids like these more on the educational side i really enjoyed watching it and i've learned alot tnx for taking time to show us xxx

  • Sam! I must know where you got that Ecotools brush! I love their brushes and I've never seen that one. Was it in a set at Boots? If so, what is the set called or the name of the brush?

  • @plagueofhamsters if you live in the u.s they have them at target in sets and individual

  • I agree with another comment below... I don't think it's as strong as I was expecting... I think without the nose & hollows I'd totally contour this way. LOL Thanks for the great tips love!

  • Dear Pixiwoo Women, sending you love and hugs from across the water. xoxo

  • I love it!!!! What's scary is that I didn't find it extreme at all can't wait to try it out:) Thx for the vid. You guys are amazing artists and unbelievably beautiful. I could watch you all day.....and I do.

  • would you compare that clinique eyeshdow brush with the 227? would it be a good alternative?

  • very adriana lima love it

  • you are absolutely beautiful!! i love your face

  • Except for this being a catwalk look, why would you contour the eye socket? It seems like that would give off an unattractive hollow/sleepless look.

  • That eye is very Marlene Dietrich. Wouldn't you agree, Sam? Excellent execution.

  • Thank you so much for this video. Ive always used a bronzer to contour and i dont like how it looks like i have a fake tan on my face. So, i went and got myself Illamasqua Rumour and i LOVE it. I love how it makes my contours my face and still look very natural.

    xx

  • No need to go under the knife. All you have to do contour! Looks awesome.

what are some good contour shades from mac or illamasqua for nw35/nw40 skin?

  • Simply stunning! I'm rubbish at contouring, but this has inspired me to try it again! x

  • as makeup artists would you recommend using stigma brushes?

  • The end result looks a little like Michelle Pfeifer. Very nice.

  • I always find a natural beauty in a womans face and that a lot of cosmetics deter from her original beaty

  • haha, the screw in your wall in the background kept catching my eye.

  • BEAUtiful

  • This helped me SSOOO much! I was blending my contours in the wrong direction(duh) and after this I was able to fix it! thank you thank you thank you!!!

  • you are one beautiful broad!!

  • Hey Sam. I know you mentioned some names for contouring for darker skin but which was the one from MAC?

  • @aqaq24 I have quite dark skin. I use Blunt from mac to contour. Its not a pro product =)

  • I know you hear it all the time, but you are GOR-geous.

  • i simply love this look, it's beyond awesome, but all the products are so expensive :( anyways great tutorial and thank you both for making great tutorials! :D

  • Oops I've always used Blunt from MAC for contouring as per the advice of a certain other makeup guru... Using cooler colors makes alot more sense!

  • i think you look a bit like Daria Werbowy with this look. that is a major compliment!

  • I love Max Factor 2000 Calorie! Its really sad Max Factor left the US :(

  • what is the name of the brand that you mention that makes a lot of contouring colors:?

  • @flygrl69 Illamasqua

  • You look like Michelle Pfeiffer when you're putting mascara on.

  • @jinasteinbach somewhat? that's an odd and a bit rude thing to say? she's stunning! :)

  • Hi Sam. I was just wondering if you knew what contour powder I should get from MAC if i am nw15/20??

  • @Rabbitdisco3000 it defines your face even more and make a have a perfect jaw

  • @ilibasic What did you expect when you clicked on 'Catwalk Contouring tutorial"?

  • I actually really like this Sam. I have darker skin so I don't think it will look as good on me, but I'm really glad I watched this.

  • You & your sister are totally amazing! Thank you for you tutorials. You've inspired me for so long so thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if i did this i really would just look like i needed a wash haha my skin seems to reject my makeup after about n hour and i looks like a blotchy mess, even with a good base on.

  • I must say, as a male who doesn't have any interest in wearing make-up, I found this video extremely interesting and enjoyable to watch. I think it appealed to my artistic side, which I have seriously neglected since my high school art classes. It is clear that you know what you are doing and are providing a valuable service by showing those who wish to learn your art the correct way to apply make-up, using professional techniques. Bravo to you and I think you are just gorgeous!
