  • hey at least we have a metallica fan

  • can't you just use the high hat pedal as an extra bass?

  • I don't understand how double bass works on an electric kit. Can you program the hi hat pedal to be a second bass pedal or do you have to buy another one or what? I want to get an electric set but I need double bass, I don't know anything about electric sets >_<. Also are you able to hook them up to a receiver and have them play through the speakers?.. Any help would be much appreciated :D

  • @ChibiGamez same, i want to know this as well

  • @ChibiGamez uh. buy a DOUBLE BASS pedal.....

  • at the end he totaly stoped to look at that girl in her bra

  • that 70's show...nice haha

  • I was watching that 70 show in the back ground

  • wat tha hell was that

  • lol one metallica

  • what were u watching on the tv???

  • I have this kit but mines a 14 piece with real double bass pedals

  • one?

  • Jews have no rhythm

  • lol..you focus on your drumming skills..until a bikini babe shows up on tv..LMAO!!

  • one metallica i heard it on the radio today on 96.1

  • lol jewish. or.... lol sunglasses inside.

  • you played a part from ''One" By Metallica? i think? and That 70's show! :D

  • what kicks do you have?

  • That was so good. I love That 70's Show!

  • i have the same set and understand completely if you keep you foot down ever so slightly it doesn't let the other pedal play...you probably knew that...this in my opinion shows that it is possible to do a double bass on that set

  • Do you have to buy extra symbals from IONS website or can I hook up symbas from any company, like yamaha

  • at the end when that girl in a bikini came on the tv u started staring. lol

  • how did you made double bas?

used two bas pedals or can you use hihat pedal for second bas pedal?? answer me as soonar as you can, im going to buy this kit ;)

  • you can't use Hi-Hat as a second bass pedal, some of these kits come with a bass drum, but i'm not sure which, i have seen people using this kit with a bass drum and not just a pedal

  • @spudsmagicvideos no.. you can use the high hat pedal. the drumset only come with two cymbals but has 3 cymbal plugs (ride, hi hat, and crash) so you take the ride plug and put it in the high hat and then make the ride sound into a hi hat sound and make the hi hat pedal sound into a bass sound. its pretty sweet, lol. once you get more than 3 cymbals you gotta buy a whole new head unit for this drumset anyways.

  • THAT 70'S SHOW FUK YEAH!!!

  • That looks like sunglasses, not a jew hat.

  • true :P

  • @fireandflamezz wrong 0:52 unless he's a turtle...

  • It's true.. I was using a normal pedal that played on a pad.

  • @halmjamin i can play fast

  • @halmjamin what drums do you have?

  • I never thought that, 'that 70's show' would be so distracting.

  • lol were u trying to play One?

  • How do you get double bass for the drum set? What about the pedal?

  • i have that set. lol i like it.

  • hmm that beat in the middle sounds like metallica...

  • i tink the sound one

  • yeh

  • yay im smart rofl...

  • lol

  • dude hook it up to a drum moniter or pa it will sound so much better

  • wow eleric drums SUCKKKKKK damn i meen to tell u them suck balls

  • one by metallica

such a good bass riff or beat whatever

  • thanks alot, i really appreciate it bro!

  • hey i really need help, how were you able to hook the double bass up with it, did u just use a normal douboble bass pedal with it, or a second electric pedal.?

  • What you can do (and what I did) is if you use an extra pad, you can set it up to be the bass. Then you can just use normal pedals on it and it works great. The only problem is that if your pedal has good padding on it, the drum pad may not pick up the hit.

  • How u get double bass to it :o. Please, tell...

  • I first tried a headphone splitter, but that didn't work (it only allows one input at a time). What worked was using a pad and a double bass pedal (without the felt at the tip).

  • Ooh! Thank you ! :)

  • Nice attempt to play 'One' by metallica. :)

  • ha, thanks. Yes, that was a part of that song. It's one of my favorite songs and fun to play on a double bass :) Good catch

  • i love that 70's show

  • ha ur watching that 70s show

  • you are really fuckin annoying

  • oh oops wrong column

  • you like tokio hotel? cause in the related video it said that you watched a video from them...... yay! haha

  • the only thing that I dont like about electric drumsets is that they make clicking sounds and the people can sometimes hear it if you wail on your drums..... like (this sounds crazy but its true) at my friends church they have a whole giant band and the drummer has an electric one and you can hear the taping on the set... OH! and if anybody owns a sound percussion (sp) drumset and still has the pedal please tell me how to stop the spring from bouncing and clicking!

  • No Offence But R U Jewsh?

  • lol, yeah.

  • Dude i loved the ending when you turned your head and you were like TITS!

  • lol at the end! u look, than keep lookking until the vid stops!

    lol i cracked up badly!

  • i use one side of my left foot for the bass, the other for the hat. i mostly drum to opeth, tool, lamb of god, and black dahlia murder tho... nothing that wails on the double bass non-stop, in that case i would have to agree with you! when i play meshuggah i use one of my old beat up huge hats on my right side closed and just get in the zone on the double bass!

  • this kind of drum has a terrible sound

  • Have you noticed that he turned around when some hot chick showed up in a bra on That 70s Show

  • I never noticed that.. that is actually kind of funny.

  • lmfao

    he DID!!!!

    its funny cuz itz true!!!

    lol

    rofl

  • That 70 show lol how do u do this

  • what ep of that 70s show is that in the background... the drumming was pretty good too

  • is that a fucking toy?

  • its a electric drumset idiot try playing a acoustic drum kit in a apartment and see how many compaints u get

  • watching that 70s show

  • hey dude please tell me summtin.. wanna buy this module to use triggers live on my real drum kit.. i play death grind core metal so i wanna know.. does this module really had a good answer? i mean .. 2 play fast

  • if you use like 2 pads it works fine, 3 sounds at once end up sounding shitty and block eachother out

  • How did you do this. Did you use a regular double bass pedal on a pad or do what i tried with a headphone splitter

  • I first tried a headphone splitter, but that didn't work (it only allows one input at a time). What worked was using a pad and a double bass pedal (without the felt at the tip).

  • hey dude please help me.. wanna buy this module but i wanna use it 2 double bass drummin

does it work? i mean fast?

  • I think someone needs a met.

  • you were playing one by metallica

  • there's 2 guys playing drums or am i to high?

  • too high

  • lol i must have A.D.D. because i just stop watching and starting watch that 70 show in your back ground!

  • I'm getting one of these soon (For practice at home) and that's what I was thinking!

Give up the hi hat pedal for the sake of a double pedal function perhaps. X)

  • What you can do (and what I did) is if you use an extra pad, you can set it up to be the bass. Then you can just use normal pedals on it and it works great. The only problem is that if your pedal has good padding on it, the drum pad may not pick up the hit.

  • Where do you get the extra pads for the ion kit?

  • Usually in the store you bought it, if not, soundslive.

  • the ion kick pedals are different. For one they suck(its cheap but it gets the job done for quiet settings). These use a 3.5 mm headphone style auxiliary jack from the kick pedal to the module. For the nicer ones like roland and yamaha, they use regular drum pedals that hit a drum pad.

  • Nice drum kit. double bass is the way to go.

  • i like that 70's showe thats a good one on in the back ground o ya real double bass sounds the best

  • Hey, I just got this set tonight and wondering how you get double bass on it? I connected the closed-hat pedal to the other kick connection but it doesn't make any noise... what do I have to buy to get double bass? thanks and good playing!

  • ya u need another pedal like an old roland 1 but ya u need another pedal with an input and out put

  • i deffinately heard a bit of One by Metallica.. nice!

  • hahaha, very true. Nice catch!

  • Hey, I'vew got a question. I just got this kit, but ,as I experienced, the drum voices suck! Do you know whether theres a possibility to use other ,better programs with the kit?iof yes, how and which? I couldnt google it up...

  • Is that kit actually worth getting I was actually gonna buy it this weekend but not sure it was worth it plz answer the question lol.. I love playing drums and dont plan on spending 800$ thnx

  • it really depends on how serious you are and whether you can put together 2 kits or are just buying one kit. Truthfully, unless loud noise is an issue where you live (as it is for me), I would just suggest looking on ebay or something for a standard NON electric set (if you don't want to pay 800+).

  • Well I live in a 4 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend and her kids and I was looking at that kit and my friend said that the kit you have is good for using REASON and hooking up a double base pedal. I played that set b4 and it was fun except i get alot of triple base pedal sounds lol..

  • do u need a different kind of double bass pedal for an electric kit?

or is it the same for acoustic and electric?

if so, please tell me which double pedal u prefer for a beginner.

  • It really all depends on which electric drum set you have. Most decent sets will allow a standard pedal which can be used for both acoustic and electric (although the set I used in this video doesn't). I'll message you.

  • Yes, if you have extra pads, you can make a pad the same sound as the bass drum, then if you place it below and just use a double bass pedal (without the padding because then it doesn't pick it up as much), it works. Just put the bass pad next to a wall or something for support because it moves with the force of the pedal. It's kind of a hassle, but it's possible. DON'T just use two of the given pedals and split the signal - it doesn't really let the two sounds come in at the same time.

  • more like double ben

and what the heck is going on in the television program behind you?

  • That's funny. My closet has a mirror door, and I think that was That 70's Show :)
