  • good to know about 700 people still have good taste in music

  • Computer has detected that you are listening to Pink Floyd, should computer dispense weed? [YES] NO

  • The 6 who disliked were denied tickets on PF Airlines and had to take the bus.

  • What a triumphant tune!!!

  • I haven't heard this song in years! Since I was in Highschool.

  • and i fly with her above the clouds everytime i hear this song..

  • I dont normally like to wake up to loud music, but when i turned this on i had to turn up the volume

  • My favorite of Pink Floyd's.

  • Every time I hear this, I think of flying through space while being injected with liquid THC. Just enjoying the trip.

  • makes me feel like rocky after he beat the rusky

  • "Learning To Fly" is my FAV of Pink Floyd's 80's tunes.

  • I love this song pink floyd is god sent! <3

  • the only reason i could see someonehitting the dislike button is to see christmass colours yea im half illiterate

  • the 6 who disliked crashed shortly after lift off

  • 6 people who disliked this didn't learn how to fly

  • brilliant album

  • This is the Pink Floyd I grew up on...it wasn't until my teens that I really got into them, and now I have all their albums, and even some Roger Waters and Gilmour solo stuff. I'm soo happy my dad introduced me to Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd is the height of all music...And Pink Floyd deals with sooo many subjects of life that we can all relate to at one point or another. I was just born too late...

  • always feel good when i listen to this song. timeless, pink floyd is timeless for that matter

  • listening to this song makes my soul orgasm!

  • One of the best songs to go hiking with while tripping

  • I used to think he was saying "....just an earthbound distant high.." :-P I have since seen the correct lyrics, thanks!;-D

  • Not doubting the experience having never tried it, but those that say you can only understand Pink Floyd and The Wall, etc, when you're tripping have a lack of natural imagination and perception. I've only ever listened to these guys sober and I get high just from listening to their awesome work. Love this album. :)

  • Its 3 am and this is one of the only songs that relaxes me enough to actually overcome insomnia. I remember when I was a little kid I used to fall asleep to this album every night

  • This song actually makes me sad :( Im 14 and I listen to Pink Floyd, how original haha ... Such a beautiful song from start to end, I love pink floyd!!!

  • @MrTheConMan23 Dude, im 14 too and i love pink floyd and this song makes me sad too! wierd... lol

  • this song is a classic !

  • who else knew carmen appice plays drums on this. great work, floyd

  • those 6 dislikes don't know real music.

  • song kicks butt

  • This song is all natural Valium....

  • this is johnny angel and this song is the shit

  • Oh shut the fuck up. Another "I'm __ years old, look how much better my taste in music is than the other __ year olds."

Fucking stupid. I don't give a fuck how old you are, and liking Pink Floyd doesn't make you better than anyone else. It just means you have a taste for Pink Floyd.

Great song, btw, thanks for uploading. Hard to find such great quality.

  • @SlakyCampa I love you. That was beautifully said.

  • Great volume and quality! Thanks!

  • The only problem with this song is that it's 3 hours too short. So transporting this music is.

  • just picked up the vinyl for this album, I was so f*cking happy when I saw it in the Pink Floyd section!

  • I fucking love Pink Floyd. Musical geniuses!

  • I love gettin stoned to this song

  • greatest song ever

  • Man, Pink Floyd is so fucking great. I was born 1991, started developing a taste for anything BUT the mainstream crap when I was like 12, it was really difficult being surrounded by all this pop culture bullshit. Luckily I found bands like Pink FLoyd, Zeppelin, and ( in a weird transition) along the way, I developed a taste for much more heavier stuff like black or death metal. I refuse to feed into what MTV puts out nowadays.

  • @MorbidJanette I remember riding home from my grandmother's house in 1991 with my mom and dad and baby sisters in an '86 mustang at night with Kashmir blaring over rock 101. I was HOOKED. It's one of my first memories and it gave a six year old chills, cementing it in my mind forever. This music is all I can ever remember listening to... to hell with the rest.

  • @MorbidJanette , i recommend Alan parsons project and moody blues for a young mind thats looking to expand

  • Wow... 6 People Suck!!!

  • HangedHourai@ agreed

  • i don't think it matters what music you like really :/ i like everything from aerosmith to brokencyde, pink floyd to katy perry, jimi hendrix to jeffree star, the red hot chili peppers to hollywood undead, etc. etc. etc. :) i think everyone can like what they wanna like. there really isn't any 'true' music, pretty much all music is real. people just need to learn how to accept that :)

  • hurr durr, thumbs up if u only like da gud muzik, like da classic rock stuf

lady gaga sucks hurr durr im so cool and not mainstream and stuff

  • Zfg

  • how can I escape this irresistible grasp?

  • Great song , great memories .

  • this is an amazing song, amazing band, and amazing time i wish i grew up with this stuff being 13 im stuck with the crap music of today, lucky i got cought up in this music, the song does sound better on vinal though

  • Everybody talks about the beatles, led zepplin, and queen as being the greatest.

but when you realize just how amazingly innovative PINK FLOYD was its almost unbelievable.

Pink Floyd is "thinking man's" music. that's the real reason why it doesn't apply to the masses.

  • My babysitter snuck me in to see Pink Floyd the Wall in the theater. I was 5 & he didn't want to miss his date. Loved the music but the movie kind of messed me up, I was trying to figure it out for days after that. Weirdest feeling I've ever had. I was scared of life after seeing it.

  • @sumuthaguy I've been told that acid makes it easier to understand

  • @sumuthaguy You have to smoke some weed before you watch the movie, otherwise it doesn't make sense sober.

  • @Tuddley3

Ha ha ha! Yea, I figured that out a year later.

  • @Tuddley3 you don't have to. I can watch the movie and understand sober.

  • I'm always glad to see how many younger folks are here listening to this stuff. Pink Floyd is the best!

  • I'm sooo glad I was raised listening to Pink Floyd. I absolutely love this song.

  • just got off a 15 hour shift bartending for college kids. im forty years old. i had a great time but DAMN am i tired. this old body left as soon as i could. came home. walked my fantastic dog. broke out the baby carrots and just got high for the first time in two days. im in bliss right now. off tommorow and this song is on REPEAT. everyone out there in the world..north carolina is sending you some love tonight.

  • @milltown420 good shit dude, ive done something similar to that and it was a spiritual experience, i felt like i was fucking reborn and put into arnold schwarzenegger's body.

  • @milltown420 that is so awesome. feelin it.

  • @milltown420 Thank you :D

  • Pink Floyd... What can i say your one of the most influential bands ever standing side by side with the other legendary greats Jimi Hendrix. Led Zeppelin. Aerosmith. Neil Young . Johnny Cash

  • @theweirdcreeperkid me too!

  • 5 people don't know how to fly

  • saw 'em in 94 at the Texas Stadium, where they crashed a plane near the end of this song!

  • @gryphonskin They don't have ears.

  • This song is so GOOD!

  • I like this kinda music. I was raised on it. I do enjoy my music a lot more but I do come back to this sometimes.

  • One listen to this, and I'm back in the late 80s.

  • this is my favorite song for sure and it has been for awhile...standing the test of time. I love this version too.

  • Sono stata al loro concerto.Gruppi di oggi possono pulirli....

  • ironically , when i used to be a stoner and trip on shrooms and everything else, i didn't listen to pink floyd as much..............now that im grown up i appreciate their music way more, one of my favorite bands now.

  • The only bands of our time that can compare to a band like Pink Floyd can be Tool, Opeth and Porcupine Tree, rest is awful, especially Dream Theater, pretentious wankery.

  • @BASEfuckingLINE I must agree with you! Specially with Opeth and Porcupine Tree!!! Great bands that put you in a musical trip!

  • @mactheartofwarfare sorry to hear that dude:/

  • one of the most underrated PF songs in my honest opinion, post-waters music aint all that bad as ppl make it seem

  • Dedicated to my father Norman L. McPhee who passed away on Jan 30th 2010,i love you dad and i miss you everyday

  • goin skydiving next month, am gonna play this on the way down ye mannnnnnn!

  • this song was one of the first pink floyd songs i heard i love pink floyd

  • A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

  • another example of extreme talent by a band that will be missed 4ever. Nice that 2 lady gagamaggot and justa dweeber fans could drop by to vote thumbs down

  • @prober45 Not to rain your parade, but I too listen to pink floyd and I love them! but I'm also a LG fan. I only listen to her and only 2 artists from today and a bunch of rock and 80's songs. BUT not JB he deserves to go to hell

  • @Nahui300 Not yo rain on yours...but get AIDS and die

  • Awesome Video to match an awesome song! One of Floyd's best!!

  • i get annoyed when people comment on classic rock videos and say "this is way better than todays shit music" and "this is cool and rap sucks". im a big floyd fan but there is some new good music.

  • @MrGrass52 totally blows 98% of today's shit. awesome video to match an awesome song! one of Floyd's best!

  • @MrGrass52 Sure, people say it too much. But its true.

These days people want to be musicians more than they want to make music, and it shows in their cheap, soulless music.

  • @ihavenokegson its true only to mainstream musicians though i know a few good bands that still make original music.

  • This band is better than most of todays bands, with the exception of Dream Theater.

  • @progressivefreak77: funny, I thought you said Dream Theater.

  • I`ve learned to fly with this song !

  • best song

  • awesome sound thsanks very much for this song!!!

  • i wish i grew up when pink floyd were more popular...

  • please can everyone look at when the tigers broke free by pink Floyd I bet you'll love it thanks

  • @thomaselwood12 Good song, but Rogers was just too bitter on that album. Ruined some of the songs IMO

  • @1968corvetteL88

    i voted up for you.

  • Roger Waters criticized this when it first came out haha. He said something to the effect of "the lyrics suck." Gotta say, I disagree. A lot.

  • @hoovboy14 Roger Waters also took the creativity of the collective Pink Floyd and turned it into a dark, depressing, nasty music (barring a few exceptions).

Thankfully Gilmour, Wright, and Mason continued making music after he left. This sounds more like Pink Floyd (in my opinion, the good Floyd anyways) than The Wall/Final Cut/Animals does.

  • @DonKael yeah i definitely agree haha. although i do love Dogs and some songs off The Wall. I'm not sure what happened between Wish You Were Here and Animals though.

  • i know who 1 person that disliked it is... Roger Waters.

  • @TheBoss351Mustang Hahaha!

  • great song to sing when i go flying. :)

  • @rambocivilairpatrol I'm in ground school right now trying to get my private pilot ticket and I couldn't think of a better song to fly with.

  • @rambocivilairpatrol I'm in ground school right now trying to get my private pilot ticket and I couldn't think of a better song to fly with.

  • @xforeverthesickestx not sure b/c plant and gilmore sound nothing alike

  • Keep the 0 dislikes thing goin

  • @zdmatson You shouldn't have said that you made me dislike it (even though I love this) just to disprove you. XP

  • I just love the guitar work in this song. I like to lay on my back, close my eyes, and soak this song in

  • I used to date a girl who danced to this song everytime it was played! It's a shame though that she now listens & dances to crappy LADY GAGA music asnd we no longer date!
