I love this song, but I cry every time I hear it. My mom wants it played at her funeral, she's still alive, but just the thought of not having her is unbearable.
@iloveyou41996 it does make a beautiful song to go out too.....seriously, I was thinking it would be a Great Funeral Song..very feeling and emotional - epsecially when you Know the Lyrics.
Now, this is a sad song in a death type of way... But it can also be recalled as a journey - spreading your wings, and finding some place better outside of home...
R.I.P to those whom have passed on, you will be dearly missed...
@xLunarxVolturix Me too, especially at the end of the movie when Amy and her geese are on the final leg of the journey. Watching them land at their destination and the crowd cheering for them brings tears to my eyes every time. A beautiful song for a wonderful movie that has become one of my children's favorites!

This is one of the most haunting songs I've heard. It reminds me of my children, who have spread their wings & are experiencing their own adventures.
Though happy with their journey, I am yet saddened & feel a loss of ... what once was. This song is for them.

Everytime I hear this song I think of my mom she died of cancer and she liked hearing this song so I play it to remind me of her, being at peace.
