Thank you Jimmy! I will be ordering "Alexander Re-visited" 2dvd set from Amazon. When you invest so much of yourself into a film like this,even missing the birth of your first child it most have been disheartening that the film in it's original form was so unfavorably received.
I gotta say, I liked Colin Farrell's performance in this scene, dealing with a rising tide of resentment against him. Sure he goes a bit over-the-top, but how would you deal with these people? You'd be yelling and getting emotional too.
"Alexander Revisited" is just one of those movies where the final cut of a film removes many of the problems facing the theatrical cut and gives us a solid film.
