Can't stand royal families or monarchies. They are full of themselves, all of them, except Princes Diana. I can't quiet explain how, but she was different.
I have never ever been touched by the passing of a celebrity and was not a fan or follower of Diana (only an observer - how could you not, she was in every magazine and newspaper), but her death shocked me to the core. I will never forget the day of the news of her death or the funeral on T.V. It was my young son's birthday party and I cried while making his birthday cake, go figure. This, being one of the most beautiful performances ever made, is so well chosen as a tribute.

@8javed The only one I can think of is the first "English Rose", Deborah Kerr. It broke my heart when she passed, I also mourn Lady Di. It is such a waste she was taken at such a young age.

I think the royals have finally been rumbled. The queen has been a rock for this country but I think its all over once she's gone. Most of them seriously take the piss.
