Hi Paul......nice to hear from you. We discovered the tune from one of the Royal Counts LPs, and really liked the street corner flavor it had.
So it looks like you moved along from the older style R&B to soul. I have several records by Jimmy Briscoe & The Little Beavers and see your name on them. Some nice work !....All the best... Jim (aka Little Phineas)
Hey My name is Paul Kyser and this song that you are singing Made Up My Mind " I wrote back in 1961 a few years later I taught Jonsie of the Royal Counts that song.I never got witers credit on the Royal Counts album but later Stan Krouse gave me the credit . I went on the write and produce a lot of hits Like Body and Soul by the Soul Generation and My Ebony Princess by Jimmy Briscoe and the Little Beavers. plus more hits I'm so glad that Made Up My Mind" still lives on: Paul Kyser
Thanks.... I guess all of us who were involved with UGHA miss it... there were lots of good times and good music there...I also noticed Bill Olb sitting up front there too.
