hi azianda I have a Question about phoenix worms. is it true that they can destroy the parasits like coccidia or some other kind of this ones ? i want really know it Thanks :)
@Blackclaw1000 no. they are just a really nutritious staple food. i am 99.99% sure that they dont get rid of parasites or that there is any kind of food that gets rid of parasites in lizards.
My beardie is only 4.5" long. Tiny baby. He won't eat more than 3 phoenix worms at a time. I've only had him since Sunday. Is it normal for him to eat so little. Before the worms, he would only eat 6-9 crickets in a day.
@tlewis7630 if you've only had him since sunday, i really doubt he's even gotten used to his new surroundings completely. reptiles go through something called "relocation" stress. just let him eat how much he wants now. when he gets used to his surroundings and he starts growing, he should start eating A LOT more. if not, get him checked by the vet. the stress can go anywhere from couple days to couple weeks. from my experience anyways.
could you please give me the ghans cricket farm website? My beardie is about 3-4 months old and I was just wondering how many cricks do you feed your 4 month old a day and how much do you keep with you at a time?
i used to feed my beardies however much they want within ten mins or whenever they stop eating. now that they are older i just give them 15 crickets a day each with vegetables. when they are as young as 4 months old they are growing like crazy, so giving them plenty of food with calcium is important.
so where do you get the phoenix worms sorry if its in the video i was pretty focused on the dragons the whole time and how old is the first dragon you fed in this video? would you recommend these phoenix worms to a three week old beardie?
@MrRandomvlogs i get the pheonix worms from ghan's cricket farm. the age of my beardies in this video were six months and four months.
yea/ phoenix worms are really good for any beardie of any age. just make sure you get the smaller phoenix worms so your small one can eat them properly.

do you have to wash the substrate off the worms
marshal1997 1 year ago
@marshal1997 you dont have to. but its always a good idea to wash off some of it. you dont want your animal to ingest too much of it
