  • Isn't it an irony that someone like Krishnamurti, who stood against all forms of Movements and Beliefsystems has been (ab-)used by the Zeitgeistmovement ?

Don't you people realise that all forms (including the glorious Zeitgeist delusion)of manmade cosmologies are in the End producing suffering and discontentment?

The road to hell is paved with good intentions!

  • any one know where i may find this full talk in TEXT ?

  • I Love you !!!

  • song name?

  • @nelsono415 Its the theme music / soundtrack of the Zeitgeist movie series.. composed by the awesome Peter Joseph himself.

  • Jiddu Krishnamurti was a visionary. Loved the phrase that followed this clip in Zeitgeist. "It is no measure of good health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society"

  • this made sense to me

  • True ! Thank you Krishnamurti

  • Thank you for the great uplaod. Such an uplifting speaker.

Does anyone know the music that encompanies him as he speaks. Dont think it is part of Zeitgeist movie.

Can anyone help please.. is such a beautiful and relaxing piece.. please share if you know

  • I searched for that song a thousand times, but I'm quite sure it is a score composed by Peter Joseph himself.

I found a sloppy version of it named "Zeitgeist Theme" on limewire.

    Good luck!

  • Read Jiddu and move on, find the rest, derive the rest yourself! The greatest teacher wanted you to be free of him

  • Lets Killuminati

  • hehe, nice

  • "We were saying..how very important it is to bring about - in the human mind - a radical revolution.

The crisis, is a crisis in contrasts. A crisis that cannot - anymore - accept the old norms, the old patterns, the..ancient traditions.

And - considering what the world is now, with all the misery, conflict, destructive brutality, aggression, and so on...Man is still as he was...

Is still brutal, violent, aggressive, acquisitive, competitive.....

And...he's built a society along these lines."

  • @gtatix "The crisis, is a crisis in consciousness" - That is correct

  • @gtatix a crisis in consciousness not contrast :)

  • @gtatix I believe he says "a crisis in consciousness."

  • @gtatix One of the best speeches ever made in human history!! Crying out loud!!!

  • @gtatix Crisis in conciousness ,,.. not contrasts

  • @tchiritchou I thought so too.

  • @gtatix WORD !

  • respect from greece

  • Brutalidad es el resultado de la escasez, y la escasez es la excusa de la brutalidad....

De este circulo infinito, sólo hay una manera de salir: RADICAL REVOLUTION

  • People are only as civilised as they are allowed to be. Poverty makes brutality a requisite for survival, though Krishnamurti is wise, he knows little of the pain of hunger.

  • how did you calculate that? how dare you profess this man to be so short sighted. BOW DOWN to the revolution of mind and man.

  • Bow down and start a revolution at the same time? Tall order isn't it? This man is indeed very wise and intelligent, but no man is above criticism, no matter how great.

  • Poverty is a concept created by men and cannot be an excuse for brutality. Brutality is in the men essence and is not triggered by a social condition.

  • I agree and disagree. Brutality is the nature of all living things as a requisite for survival. When man is removed the struggle of survival and spoiled as is in middle and uperclass homes, he is allowed to elevate himself in his own mind. Poor men have no such luxury and must retain the brutality within all other species to live.

Of course this is not applicable to all cases of man's brutality, but it does account for it in an economically competetive sense.

  • @nbap you said "condition", then it can be triggered by another kind of condition? of course brutallity can be triggered by a social condition! the environment demands, and if what it demands for survival is physical aggression, then, and first instance, many individuals will be incited to become hostile torwards what it percieves as competition or threat (of course as extremely intelligent as some are, innovation will take the place of many facets of individuals...

  • @nbap ...and as enough intelligent as most are, will be capable of employing those methods), but, needless to say, there are many more reasons for brutal provocation or simple desire for brutallity, but the notion and assertion that human behavior is immutable and fixed is absolutely false.

  • @nbap i disagree

  • @triniweezy (You) May need to open your mind. Take out all prejudice and you'll be free to accept the truth.

  • @zubayar so "nbap" is basically saying that poverty is not triggered by social condition and i think the current social condition is adding to the brutality and is the reason for poverty? so there is a trigger from the outside that has kept us this way for so many years.

  • @nbap Sounds nice...go tell it to a starving child and her mother!

  • @nbap Your view on Brutality is not just contradicted by most of recent Behaviourists, Neuroscientists and latest Economists, but also just a thought and another concept, that helps certain people to excuse their conditioned behaviour, driven by greed.I don't say you are one of them, no, but obviously you seem to have given in to this Propaganda about "the Nature of mankind".

  • hunger and poverty in the world are a consequence of the crisis of consciousness of manking

  • you still aint got the whole picture.

  • Brutality is only a result of your own mindset. Instincts can only go so far, they are ultimately controlled by your mind.

For example, say I am very hungry and need to eat. I have the choice to go and destroy someone else for their food, etc. It is MY choice. I have been hungry before, and have made decisions concordant to what I deem necessary.

  • @Sh0nin

you sir... are an idiot... how dare you make such blatant assumptions. tell me my friend.... What do YOU know of hunger... you are such a shallow mind. you dont need to experience poverty to understand the violence that is associated. in a society where inequality is a religion, poverty, violence, war, hunger, greed, all of the above, will stem from corrupted roots. krishnamurti's message is for all men, for all of us to wake up and see that reality... whether poor or rich...

  • @OhRy4N Such vitriol does seem out of place if you had gone back to check the entire conversation. If such is the case, it would indeed be terribly ironic, after chastising me for my presuming and stupidity.

  • why debate that man is inherently brutal instead of promote his capacity for change. and use the growing intelligence and consciousness stemmed from the advent of the Internet, to spread awareness of reality for us to make a change in the world. Your arguments have weight, but as a person compassionate for social change, dwelling on man's brutal conditioning as inherent from nature, tho seemingly realistic, is rather counterproductive. believe in change, or keep the status quo.. your call...

  • @OhRy4N Because truth isn't idealistic. It's impossible move forward without fully recognizing our failures.

  • @Sh0nin Agreed. Capacity for change includes the understanding that comes from realizing one's mistakes. Social change/evolution doesn't mean just dumping the old and mass producing the new. Truth is relevant in an emergent universe. Apparently, it's emerged, we're not doing that gr8... it takes the compassion of ppl who are fortunate enough to earn an unbiased education, to spread awareness. which perpetuates the truth that man is better than he allows himself to be, and we need to wake up.

  • @Sh0nin "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent." Isaac Asimov

  • @DarKAdyuS “People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.” Isaac Asimov

No doubt we could argue these opposing points ad infinitum, simply because we disagree at a much more fundamental level. You see good as something ethereal, to be strived for beyond base instinct. I don't. My views are much more Nietszchean.

  • first step: realise a problem

    second step: handle it !!!

    what is easier????

    b.m. : get up, stand up ......

  • So true... this world needs peace... Wise, wise man Krishnamurti...

  • @SEBASAGA

.... we need a REVOLUTION not just of the physical but mental as well.

rise and wake brothers and sisters of the infinite light, it is time.

  • The Incarnation of the Buddha

  • J. Krishnamurti truth speaker

    5*stars

  • Jiddu Krishnamurti is brilliant.

  • very good

  • very true.
