Those are nearly the same notes as in the Jazz standard summer time. Only difference is your sliding into 7thfret from the 6th when playing that first note on the g string.

marty is amazing guitarist and also a very good teacher, he is definately in the right field, wish i could get 1 on 1 lessons from him, ive been playing for no more than 3 weeks and already can do some amazing (although very basic to seasoned guitarists) stuff, can play 3 songs althpugh bit choppy with chord progressions,scales and many many blues riffs and licks....he just puts it so simple, he probably does not even realise how good a teacher he is

@TheStormtrooperrr @TheStormtrooperrr It's easiest and sounds best if you stay in the different positions of the pentatonic (or blues) scale in the key you're in. This is in A minor, so the A minor pentatonic/blues would work best. Marty's lick and improvisation is in just the first position of the scale; there are five positions that all connect with each other. A quick Google search for "A minor Pentatonic Scale positions" will find you videos, pictures and PDFs that explain it very well

@Comtoexcel002 You'll never get a good sound out of a 10w amp ( im guessing that this 10w is cheap brand that came with your guitar?) if you go out and buy £100 amp it won't be top of the range but it will give you alot more variation on the tones you can use and it won't sound crackly like cheap free "Guitar Package" amps do :)
