Keeping any animal against its will is bad... especially those that can't accept the responsibility of owning wild captured animals. I'm for it, too many don't even take care of their exotic pets. So not being able to get them curves the release of pets into the wild.

Is the ban only on importing wild pythons or am I forbidden to buy captives as well?

I am all for getting rid of the pythons out of the everglades but then again i am also for kill all the stray cats in florida too. But serious this band isnt going to help them out at all. Another thing why the hyrbrids? Really starting to hate being in the US

In England they banned keeping live animals in pet stores, how do people in the UK get pets if not at a pet stores.

@KingofDeath Thats not what I hear.  And what I hear comes from a woman born and raised in England she thought it was strange to see pet stores in the U.S. selling dogs and cats.

@quimbyt Dog and cats you normally buy from breeders instead of pet stores, but you can buy animals in pet stores (rats,mice,rabbits,reptiles plus many more), some of the more exotic pet stores sell genets, kinkajou, meerkats, small monkey species ect.
