Here is an idea for making people want to play the objective- For every win you would get a prestige ticket and for every loss you would lose one of these prestige tickets and once you reach 50 prestige tickets you could convert that into a prestige token to do whatever the hell u want to do with it

my k/d in black ops was around 4, but now in mw3 i've completely stopped caring about that, and now that i "zerg rush" all the flags constantly my win/ loss is around 2 playing alone, despite my horrible k/d. i have to agree that it shouldn't really be that way.

amazing final kill cam. But im not sure that making death matter in dom would

change the play style of many people. My guess is that if you camp you dont

give a fuck about winning (and your 12) and your k/d is more important

than drinking water. Then you have others that want to win, but that play

it somewhat aggressive moving up and trying to cap flags and essentially

win. My point is i dont think tickets will make this game any more

campy and maybe a little bit more fun. Maybe

It's the rank system. PERIOD. IMO, all games need to go to the Halo 3 rank system. Pure wins ONLY. Everyone wanted to win, no one gave two shits about kills or deaths, unless you were in Team Slayer. Idk, that was just the best experience I had with teamwork because literally every stranger in the lobby wanted to win and worked together as a team.

@DangerSandler This is true, but then you go back to only playing for the win, people just throw themselves at the flags. Imagine Domination with ticket bleed, a 4 second spawn delay and the Halo 3 ranking system. You wouldn't have the asshats who go 13-38, you could have a shot at doing a solo cap mid game, and winning would matter without the zerg rush mentality.

I would really love to see some kind of Battlefield game play from you. But it seems like the only options you would have are either BC2 or BF3. I loved BC2 despite the horrible flaws and sluggish feel it had to it, I still find it better than BF3.

The spawn system in MW3 is too wonky for a spawn ticket system I've gone from flawless to 6 deaths in less than a minute because of how crappy the spawns can be.

It's so worthless, and yet they're still nerfing the extended mags glitch, as if you haven't deserved a buffed shotgun when you've tortured yourself through the fucking hell it is to make it to level 28.

@Datasint I actually had a lot of fun, if you get into a full party when grinding up shotguns and still coming out on top of the scoreboard. The feeling when grinding it up isn't fun when it takes maybe 2 3 shots to kill, but it's fun using the spas in my opinion

@Datasint i agree. patching shotguns is the stupidest thing theyve done. the only shotgun that is even close to easy to use pre-damage is the striker, and its still not something that just anyone can use effectively. shotguns are generally what agressive players use to not feel so campy and they're ruining it. its as if they trying to make this game more campy

On MW3 i only play demolition and domination, half the time i go for K/D and half the time i play the objective, but i still end up doing quite well, because either way you get monster score

Dom should be like this: Get to 200 points, and then your team has to get 20 kills. Then you win, that way the flag cappers and slayers can win:).

The shotgun are supposed to encourage aggressive play but it pumps so slow that if you face off against more than 1 person u will die so u can't exactly run around with it. Infinityward couldn't even get that right.

From what I have seen, camping is the best way to play Domination. I have watched a good amount of videos (and even been in games) where one team would cap 2 flags, and then sit at a choke point and kill people as they walked out of their spawn. Summit in Blops is the best example of this, If you only had A flag, it was near impossible to leave your spawn.

Hey DRJ, the model 1887 doesn't get any extended mags, so as of now, the spas-12 (and maybe the KSg-12.... I don't really use it) is better, fully leveled up than the model is. Maybe if they're patching the extended mags glitch then the model will be better, but not right now.

To be fairly honest after playing a decent amount of Conquest in Battlefield 3 i have also noticed that more and more people are being concerned about the K/D than the W/L and i just find it so stupid. I Remember this one match so cleary where there was a flag completely empty and 15 would constantly run by empty flags and to go for the kill or even the a bloody tank and there i am capping it on my own god that is just furious. The skill lvl which PS3 BF3 bring is just atrocious and im horrible

@ObliviousIkuto IMO the designers have to take into account that if you design a flag in such a way that it's a suicide mission to cap it, people wont bother capping. I don't think it's fair to ask everyone not to care about their k/d because that doesn't make any sense. Unfortunately it also doesn't make sense to have objective gameplay without objective gameplay, but I'm sure you get the point.

When you use the tank in 1942, you where behinde a cliff and curved a shell over it and got a double kill or something, but in todays BF3 that will not happend you need to go out yourself in danger to get that kill. If you asked me I would say that spoting is the shit that needs to go, and then the game will be less skill equal. You said it yourself that tanks is OP in 1942 where you don't need to allways get out in danger, but in BF 3 you need to do that.

Waldo I just saw your "BF progression" about tanks and some other stuff, but have realy tanks fallen from the skill tree? The way I see it with laserbeam shells flying to the air is that you need to go out to crossfire to get a hit on enemy vehicles and move back and forth to protect youself.

Extended mags doesnt give any extra pellets per shot anymore on the pc (besides the fact that the model doesnt get any attachments ofcourse). Still, extended mags is the attachment to get, simply because the rest is so meh and you can spam more with the semi-auto :)

How to make people care about winning:

1) Make domintation like conquest were kill/dying matters.

2) Stop counting k/d. Make w/l the only statistic counted in Objective game modes. Slayer game modes should have their own separate stats where k/d is important.

The only problem with doing this is that it would encourage camping. Which from what i've seen, is EXACTLY what it does in Battlefield. At least Battlefield 3.
