Question: What movie is the Cinema City and Films Company (not the company limited) from? Looked like its the first logo to come with before the most popular one.
I guess Cinema City switch to its "red and gold" ident in around 1986, at least first seen from "A Better Tomorrow" which was released that year. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) The CCFC ident was often seen in the studio's less known films, this one from a slasher flick "Heartbeat 100" (1987).
Can someone please tell me where this "Cinema Capital Entertainments Ltd. Release/Cinema City Enterprises Ltd. Productions" opening intro comes from??
And the first part of that jingle from the Rainbow Audio & Video Incorporation logo (as the R is being drawn) is the last part of the Golden Harvest Jingle.
That first Cinema City fanfare you'll find in the Rainbow Audio & Video Incorporation logo (there was only one, and it was an R with the red-green-blue color combo)..you think the fanfare is scary, that logo's even scarier!
The last one looks like it's been ripped off or predated.

I love most all of these jingles. That last one isn't half depressing though!

To me, the last ident already lost the essence of Cinema City...

It's from "Undeclared War" starring Danny Lee and directed by Ringo Lam.

The only version of this logo I like is the 3 golden C's w/ the red background.

Not just the logo, about one-third of the HK films i saw in cinema in my childhood are produced by Cinema City. It equals a legend.

Yes it was, under Karl Maka's wing sharing the same logo with Cinema City Enterprises.

Wasn't Cinema Capital Entertainments a rip-off of Cinema City?
