It was you who first replied to my message stating that the name acid house was derived from the 303 bassline..

If you had bothered to read the posts on page 2 u would see they were refering to this as 'acid'.It was them folks who called it acid.

I'd recommend re-reading yours, the original post that you were having a go at and my reply!

The term acid comes from the sound of the 303, the sound heard on this tune is that of a 303 or is made to sound like it. That's what the original poster is referring to. The tune's obviously not acid house as it doesn't have a 4/4 kick hence the reason they didn't call it acid house.

why is 808 plus a 909 equal to 303 when a 808 and 909 are both drum machines and a 303 is a mono synth?
