I totally understand! i used to be just like that. i know that music can be very addictive, but to benefit yourself in the hereafter, you need to leave it...i know u might not be able to put a halt to it all at once, but try not to listen to it for a while, instead stik to the nasheeds, and you will fortget about music. Inshallah.

durood sharif is the "alahumma salay ala..." recited in salat in the sitting position. in english it translates "Oh Allah send your salutations upon the Prophet (pbuh) and his family as You sent your salutations on Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) and is family. Oh Allah send your barakat upon the Prophet (pbuh) and his family as You sent your barakat upon Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh)
