@morhotpockets It just takes some timing and a little practice. You need to somersault into the wall, then press the direction you want to go on the D-Pad, and then push the jump button at the right moment.

It can be tricky to learn--I still slip up on it often, but I've found it helpful in dodging enemy attacks.

@RemyCatMan2 I didnt notice at first, but then I saw a comment on that and if you look close enogh you can see it, but randomly enough, it got there, makes no sense how though. Maybe the X just hosted it while it was already there and entangled in plant roots, then just took control of it.

@Algren334 I'll give you tips on some of the bosses on BOX the first time you go to the left of the ceiling and he won't hit you and on Serris go to the top of the rightmost ladder and wait for him to come near then fire missiles and on what you call arachni x is called Yakuza on the 1st form fire missiles in the middle before he fires down the flames to start to hurt him early and its best to stay in a corner to not be picked up and morph ball when he gets to close.

@SuperUniverse555 It's a Hard Core-X. You have to shoot them in the "eyeball" thing when it appears in order to hurt them. When they die, they give you a beam enhancement.

Algren334: I respect your opinion, but I just don't know how you (as a metroid fan) could be dissapointed. It won numerous awards for GBA game of the year and Best GBA game ever. It is currently ranked fourth of all Metroids by gamerankings.

There was just too much plot and not enough exploration, like all of the other Metroid games. Plot isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when the plot is so rigid, and you feel like your leash is being pulled this way and that, considering all of the other games let you (kinda) free roam, it just kills what I had been expecting of it. If it was more like Corruption, where you get a decent balance of both, THEN I probably could've enjoyed it. No worries though, I respect your opinion too. :-)

i have a strategy to kill mother plant...RELETIVELY easier than on here..

Wait until the screen is flooded with spores. Lay a P Bomb. it will destroy them all, including a few others that the plants will spawn afterwards, letting you score at least...6-7 hits at a time! Trust me, I tried it ;D

Mrpwnage2244: I have a better technique. Stand on the very edge of the platform and the spores will think that you are trapped inside the big flower. This lets you fire away at the plant without difficulty :)

THeres a similar strategy with the security robot v2. If you grab the very end of the ladder, all the security guard will do is fire missles(which pose no threat if you just gun em down) and run into the wall. Once he runs into the wall, he'll be stunned for a bit so give him missle 'ell. He'll run away and fire missles then charge the wall again! To easy!

there is a "safe-spot" while fighting against motherplant... you can stand on the second platform and when the spores come at you just morphball and you will easily dodge those annoying spores
