This sounds awesome. Im about to do the same thing to my k8 750 and I was wondering what the conversion entailed. I've heard that removing the cat can make the bike lean out so I was wondering if you noticed any white residue on your spark plugs or any rainbowing of the sparkplug threads or maybe you remapped it? Also was there a significant difference in power or shift in power output through the RMP range?
Im doing the same to my bike, yes a tune is needed to get the bike to run right, you need to keep the O2 sensor aswell for when your putting on the mid pipe, depending on exhaust it should give you a gain of 3-5bhp, the exhaust will be very loud so you may need to put the baffel back in, I no i will have to with my Yoshimura R55 exhaust
