  • What a great game anda the music is fantastic. One of my favorite game for Mega-Drive/Genesis.

  • Man, 90's 2D platformers always get me a little teary-eyed

  • 3:22 You do realize that you missed a power up dont you? what you need to do at that part is jump.

  • i think that it was really one of the best mega drive game ever... beautiful soundtrack, every music was perfect fit to the level.. and also good sfx really incredible for that time.. I HAVE A COPY is perfect! i can sell you if you want

  • Such an awesome game, great fun to play and a brilliant soundtrack to boot. It's a shame my copy got fried ;__;

  • My favorite game ever.

  • i want this game, i played it when i was 8, the music of the opening is too great, nostalgy ....

    thanks to upload this video

  • A most excellent video. Thanks for bringing back all those great memories!

  • Magic Soundtrack.....omg!

  • I purchased this game a couple years ago from a GAME CRAZY store. I think I got it for a low price of $2.99! Allthough all I got was just the cartridge. No manual or box. Still I was pleasantly surprised when I popped it in my Genesis. What ever happened to GAME ARTS? I think I read on WIKIPEDIA that they're helping develop SMASH BROS. BRAWL on Wii. But other than that, I don't think I've seen any games from them. Hmmm...

  • You don't know Game Arts? Dude, they created Grandia and Lunar! Not to mention Thexder, upon which Alisia Dragoon is heavily based...

I'm more curious about that Gainax logo. Is this the same Gainax who gave us the crazy anime series FLCL?

  • Hmm, I guess I should have specified. I meant that I haven't seen any RECENT games from them. I own both GRANDIA for the Dreamcast and LUNAR SILVER STAR STORY COMPLETE for PS1. And FYI, it turns out only part of Game Arts staff was helping develop in the early stages of SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL. I have SSBB but I haven't seen Game Arts credited anywhere in the game.

  • Actually, Game Arts was mentioned in the end credits of the Subspace Emmisary (Brawl's Adventure mode) under "Developer Cooperation."

  • That was my choice for the best game of 1992... granted, I only had a Sega Genesis at the time, but fifteen years later, I'm still confident about that choice. Kudos to GameArts for this overlooked gem!

  • yep. magical music. magical games. god bless emulators

  • Nice video. I have a video on google where I play through the entire game on hard mode.

  • I played this before, but I never got far in it.

  • XD she sounds funny when she gets hurt.

  • This game was pretty good it had a good style to it. Not sure if I got any where but her powers and the dragon concept was wicked. It was a really magical game. I always remember the music. Its funny how the music stood out on oldschool games, they had certain coolness to them.
