@EliasFrostMusic Thats true! thats how I do it :) the audio is recorded on a separate track so I can mix it afterwards. Its funny how people think you suck or are fake because you use autotune, John Mayer tells his fans how he uses autotune on Ustream ;) I have a new better mix of this on my channel but without the video :)

On this version I have pre recorded a guitar track you can compare those versions.

This is surely produced and not directly live (even though it's filmed, I believe the audio is processed after the shot). He probably want it to sound as good as can be, that's why he uses autotune to fine-tune it. A lot of artists do, John Mayer is a good example, almost all his live DVDs are processed and corrected before release. C'mon, we've heard this guy enough times to draw the conclusion that he is an awesome singer, even without autotune. :)

@thewelshrocker101 Ok don't kill me here, but to say this guy needs a record contract, sry I just don't see it. HE IS VERY TALENTED NO DOUBT. I can't do what he does. I like his covers, they are great. But he as nothing orignal that is good enough to go on an album. I have heard some of his solo stuff and it sounds like everything he covers. His guitar orignals sound just like EJ. Music today is so bad, when we here someone that can make a good cover then we are like wow awesome but really not.
